About this property

Family Owned, perfect for Trebarwith Strand beach & Coast (near Tintagel)

Trebarwith Strand (near Tintagel) is a surfer’s paradise attracting locals and visitors to its spectacular waves and golden sands. Fantastically positioned, our holiday home, Tredennis looks out over it all and can sleep eight in four bedrooms less than 150 metres from the sea.

Designed as a home-from-home, it is regularly used by multi-generational families or groups of friends looking for extra space. Uninterrupted sea views from the 2 double bedrooms, the large lounge / dining room windows and the garden give it extra appeal.

Tredennis is a spacious 4 bedroom (8 person) detached house with its own garden which faces the sea. It has private parking within its grounds for 2 large cars. It has a fabulous open plan lounge/diner with views out to sea.

The kitchen is well-equipped and offers everything you should need during your stay including a coffee machine and dishwasher.

Upstairs, the two double (king size) bedrooms enable you to watch the sea crashing against Gull Rock from the comfort of your bed.
The third bedroom offers views across the valley and sleeping for two in single beds. Our children always argue over who gets to sleep in the cosiest (4th) bedroom which has a bunk bed (and black out blind).
The master bedroom enjoys an en-suite including a bath with shower over. The other three bedrooms share the family bathroom. There is a further bathroom downstairs which has another shower.

The garden offers various seating options along with a charcoal BBQ meaning you can dine al fresco while enjoying the panoramic North Cornish coastline and some amazing sunsets over the Atlantic Ocean.

Bed linen and towels are supplied.

From April to October, Tredennis is let for whole weeks only, Saturday to Saturday but please contact us for shorter stays during the winter.

Sorry, we do not accept pets.
Tredennis is a NO SMOKING house

Trebarwith Strand is an unspoilt cove on the north coast of Cornwall. A small hamlet just 2 miles south west of Tintagel, it has two pubs, cafe and surf shop. The beach is lifeguarded in the summer. Trebarwith Strand is a great magnet for surfers and coastal path walkers. With majestic scenery, high cliffs and rocky coves to explore it's the perfect holiday retreat, while Tintagel with King Arthur's castle, a selection of cafes and restaurants and an old Post Office is just three mile aways over the cliff tops. Port Isaac is accessible via the coastal path for the more adventurous. The area is perfect for exploring the major surfing beaches to the south as well as the open spaces of Bodmin Moor just 10 miles to the east. The major beach resort of Bude is 12 miles away while Boscastle with quaint harbour and pottery is just 5 miles away. Newquay, the Eden Project and the cathedral city of Truro can all be reached within 45 minutes by car.

Although it’s worth checking the tide times as the beach disappears completely at high tide but this means the beach is always clean and fresh at the next low tide!

It’s the best spot in Cornwall
I love Trebarwith strand abs have always admired the position of this property. It’s literally on the beach, amazing and sunsets to die for. The house was very well equipped and set up for our family of 8. We had a fantastic week and will be back

Tredennis, great house in a prime position
We all had an amazing week at Tredennis, the views and sunsets are spectacular. We had beautiful weather and went on several local walks. Well worth the effort to get to the top of the cliffs. The house was perfect for the 6 of us (3 couples). Liz, the host, was very helpful. Highly recommend

Amazing view!
Fantastic spot, good for beach (at low tide), coastal walks, visits to Tintagel, Boscastle, Padstow. And incredible sunsets! Roomy, well furnished and comfortable place in iconic location overlooking the sea, with handy pub next door.

A stunning location staying in the best house in the village
We had a glorious week. The house makes the very most of the location, and having a cuppa in bed looking out at the sparkling Atlantic every morning would be hard to beat anywhere in the world. The sun sets right in front of you every night, if like us you have blue skies every evening. The beach completely disappears at high tide which was luckily in the morning during our stay. So expect to plan your day / week around the tides to maximise your holiday. The port William pub is in a million dollar location opposite the house but short staffed this year- so has awful food and service, so I wouldn’t bother eating there - but good for a pre-booked table for a sundowner . We had a perfect week at Tredennis with adults and teen girls very happy indeed mainly thanks to the perfect setting.
