Light, bright, 4 bedroom 2 bath. Enclosed garden 5 min walk to beach and shops

This is our holiday home by the sea that we love within easy reach of the village and beach. It's an easy peasy hassle free house that works brilliantly for one or two families for a long weekend or more. It's great for kids and dogs due to the gated car park and the sunny aspect south facing garden. Even on those odd damp days it's super warm due to under floor heating and is brilliantly equipped with everything you might need for a stress free break. This house is stylish and contemporary with one main living area on the ground floor and bedrooms and bathrooms on the first and second floors. Enclosed, sunny, private south facing garden to rear with table, chairs and Weber BBQ. Parking for 2 cars. Central heating, underfloor heating and free WiFi. Clean and well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, cooker, microwave, gas hob, large fridge freezer, washing machine and dryer. Dining table seats 8. Downstairs loo. First floor: one room with bunk beds, one double with king-sized bed and one twin plus family bathroom. Second floor: master bedroom with ensuite and small toddler bed in room off main bedroom. All linen provided except towels which are available on request.

About Victoria

We are a family of 4. Our Kids are 5 and 7. We have been coming to this location on holiday for many years and loved it so much we decided to buy!

We love water sports and golf, cycling and fishing all that the beach and village has to offer. The village particularly is a safe place for kids to go on holiday away from the hustle and bustle of the big city.

Fabulous location for watersports, walking, mountain climbing and great beaches.

House is really well equipped for a family. Everything is modern warm and clean and has all the benefits of being only 8 yrs. old. It has under floor heating and sea glimpses. The court yard location offers security and the kids can play outside in the safety of an enclosed area once you shut the gate.

What makes this house unique

Very convenient in village location. Walking distance to the beach. Decent sized south facing garden. Modern/warm dry clean. Very well equipped.

Fantastic house....don't hestitate!

We stayed here for a week over Christmas. The house exceeded our expectations...it was very comfortable, well furnished and very warm. Everything you could hope to find in the kitchen was there to help with the Christmas dinner, the house has everything you could possibly need in that respect. Nice big garden and only a short walk to everything Rhosniegr has to offer.

Great location, everything you need.

Stayed with my family here -3 generations including 2 small babies and a dog. Really well equipped and had everything we needed. Garden especially was great for children to play and adults to sit in the sun. Perfect location as we didn't need to use cars to get anywhere. A great family holiday.

Beautiful property

My sister and I booked a short break in this lovely house - it is well equipped and it was comfortable throughout. The owners are easily contacted if needed and extremely helpful. Both my sister and I would happily stay here again - it is close to the beach and the village. I would definitely recommend this house to my friends and family.

Great modern & spacious house for a family holiday

A great house that the photos and advert don't do justice. Very clean, modern and really well equipped for a family stay, especially in the kitchen and even down to the finer details of providing handwash and cleaning products (many other rentals don't!). The house is in a great location, and whilst you've not got sea views (other than from the attic room!) it is minutes away from the beach and local shops, cafes and restaurants in Rhosneigr. Having spent many years holidayiing in Rhosneigr as a child, this was the ideal place for me to bring my children and relive many fond memories.

The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because of my nervousness of the booking process and having to pay direct - hear so many horror stories of scam sites - but I had absolutely no problem with transactions, including speedy return of deposit. Thanks to Victoria and family.

Great holiday home

Had a lovely break in this house. Party consisted of 4 adults, 3 children and a dog.

Kitchen very well equipped – better than mine at home! Comfortable living room and good size garden although we didn’t get to spend a lot of time in it as it was quite chilly when we were there.

All bedrooms a good size and plenty of storage space. We had the top floor bedroom, great views across the bay and good size en-suite as well as good size first floor family bathroom.

Plenty of space in the house spread over 3 floors so we didn’t feel like we were crowding each other.

Walking distance to the Oyster Catcher, lovely bar and restaurant - really pleased we could take our pooch in the downstairs bar area. Also easy walking distance to beach and local shops.

We would definitely go back to this property.

Light, spacious, well equipped- amazing!

We have just returned from a lovely week in Rhosneigr at this fantastic house. The description and photos of the house are completely accurate and we were blown away by just how nice it is.

Our party of 8 comprised of 2 families with 4 girls aged 3 to 5 as well as Ella the dog. The house was plenty big enough for all of us and as our 2 daughters sleep in separate rooms, the benefit of the small toddler bedroom on the top floor was a big advantage (she loved the fairies!).

The house is light, bright, clean and very well equipped, the kitchen is like home from home and plenty big enough to accommodate the weeks worth of shopping we had delivered by ASDA, on the evening we arrived.

The girls and Ella enjoyed the use of the enclosed garden when the weather permitted and we took advantage of the BBQ on a couple of occasions.

The village centre is at the end of the road with some good cafes and takeaways, the Oystercatcher restaurant is about a 10-15 min walk away but well worth it! The beaches are only a short walk too and fantastic.

Overall we highly recommend this house and will be certain to return in the future. Many thanks Victoria.

Special interest holidays:

Rhosneigr is a mecca for kitesurfing, windsurfing, sailing and other watersports. There are 2 shops renting wetsuits, paddleboards and kite surfing equipment. Lessons are also available. RYA boating instruction and courses are also available.

The Snowdonia National Park is less than an hr. away by car and there are many scenic coastal walks and cycle routes on the Island of Anglesey.

For birdwatchers this stretch of coast provides a sanctuary for many seabirds including Puffins and Terns.

Coast/Beach:

Rhosneigr has 3 fabulous safe sandy beaches. The main beach in front of the village is easily accessed and is where boats etc. are launched. There is a boat lane to keep boats away from "bucket and spade" areas. Broad beach is a long wide beach which tends to be quieter and popular with surfers. Cymyran is accessed across the river, popular with kite surfers and is wild and completely unspoilt.

Travel:

To find the property, take Junction 5 Rhosneigr off the A55 follow signs to Rhosneigr along A4080 after 4 miles turn right just after The Wayside shop follow road to centre of village, follow road to right along Station Road, after 500 yards turn right, at School sign, pass school at top of road turn right then turn left into the Retreat, No 9 is at the end facing you. Parking is the last 2 spaces, numbered 9.
