Hi there, welcome to our beautiful apartment, I'm Fi and my husband Paul and I live in London and holiday in Spain at any opportunity. Paul and I love to travel and enjoy good food. I'm a deputy headteacher and Paul works in sales. Stepping into the apartment offers us the break from the Big Smoke that we need from time to time. We hope you visit and enjoy the complex and the amazing location it sits in.

What makes this apartment unique

We own one of a few apartments in the complex that has both two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Having the terrace of the opposite side of the apartment to the lagoon pool allows visitors to enjoy peace and tranquility while sitting on the terrace looking at the sea view.

Benissa is in a prime location for you to access beautiful local attractions like Moraira, Calpe, Altea and inland to Guadalest.

Lovely spacious apartment in a great location.

We visited at the end of March, when it was very quiet and not too hot.

We travelled around in our hire car and the surroundings have a lot to offer.

The apartment has air con., so we were never too hot or too cold.

Supermarket and beach are only a short walk away. Our favourite bar/restaurant was the Mandalay on the local beach.

Yes we loved our stay at Fiona Sheen's apartment, and hope to return in the future.

Short Break in October

Lovely property. Extremely well equipped, modern and spacious, and ideal for 4 people unless you want to use the bed settee then 6. Large balcony with both shade and direct sun facing the sea and stunning sunrises. Great shared pool and sun lounger area. Very close to the sea and nice restaurants. Good supermarket and beach within walking distance if you didn't have a car. Probable busy in the summer months but quiet in October. Can't fault it in any way.

Had a fabulous time at this lovely apartment and beautiful complex. Both were absolutely immaculate with the apartment having all the comforts of home. The booking was extremely easy with great communication from both Paul and Fiona. We visited with our 8 year old son so the different levels in the swimming pool were ideal with no problem whatsoever getting a sun bed each day! Sun umbrellas are provided too around the pool area together with padded cushions for the sun loungers. We visited many local beach bars in the area with stunning views together with a couple of local markets. We love this part of Spain and will definitely be back!!

Our stay in this apartment was absolutely fantastic!

The description of the property itself and the facilities within the complex were spot on. In fact i would say that the placement of the apartment within the complex was better than expected in that we were very close to the pools yet on the quieter side of the complex. The apartment itself was on one level which was great as we have a toddler!

The handbook that we found on arrival was very useful in giving us an overview of the local area, what to do and good places to eat and drink. We were pleasantly surprised at the vast array of choice, ranging from family friendly activities and restaurants through to fine dining. We ran out of days to do everything!

I would highly recommend this property to anyone across the board including those travelling with small children.

High quality apartment in lovely location

The apartment is very comfortable, of high quality and had absolutely everything we needed. It is extremely light and airy with the sun rising over the balcony each morning and lovely sea views to enjoy. The property and grounds are extremely secure and the pool complex is fabulous. On this occasion we did not have time to try out the sites facilities but will definately do so when we return in October. Thank you to Paul and Fiona whose communication and assistance were also first class!!

Fabulous home-from-home getaway!

We stayed in the apartment for two weeks, myself, my husband and our 3 children, aged 12, 10 & 3 for the Easter break. All I can say is what a fantastic holiday we had! The apartment is located a 20 minute walk from the small beach of Fustera and a short drive from Calpe beach, which has cafes, restaurants, beach volleyball, a climbing net for the kids, rock pools and plenty of golden sand. The apartment itself was really clean & spacious and had a lovely homely feel (much better than staying in a cramped hotel room) and the washing machine was a godsend, especially after a day at the beach! I found the kitchen really well equipped and the local supermarket was a short 10 min drive away; we literally dropped our bags, went shopping and had bought everything we needed for the first few days. Having 3 kids we thought it might be a squeeze with only 2 bedrooms but the twin room was big enough to put the travel cot (provided) in so my husband & I had our room to ourselves which was so lovely! Entertainment wise, plenty of good English tv if the weather is bad, Benidorm is great for teenagers (kid friendly bars, pool tables, Levante beach), a trip to the waterfalls is a must, as is Moraira at dusk and Altea old town (quaint cobbled streets, church, artisan shopping). There's as little or as much to do as you'd like, the people are so friendly both out and about and at the apartment, all in all, we've come home refreshed and relaxed. A big thank you to the owners Paul & Fiona for the excellent restaurant recommendations and sharing their lovely holiday home.
