Cottage and Barn in Caerdeon, Barmouth, Snowdonia National Park, North Wales, Wales - Two Recently Refurbished One Bedroom Cottages Set In The Gardens And Woodland Of The Main House

Two detached cottages set in an acre of landscaped gardens. Overlooking the Mawddach Estuary with magnificent views to the Cadair Idris mountain range. Each has a private parking area next to the entrance. They are centrally heated and equipped to a high standard providing very comfortable accommodation throughout the year. Coedmor Cottage and Barn are ideal locations for that romantic break. Minutes drive from miles of stunning sandy beaches. There are many castles, historic sites and gardens to visit. With numerous and varied walks, quiet lanes for cyclists and stunning scenery. There really is something for everyone.

There is No Wi-Fi access in the cottage and due to the rural location mobile signal can be patchy depending on your network. A lot of the local café’s and bars in both Barmouth and Dolgellau offer free Wi-Fi.

Coedmor Cottage is a one Bed-roomed cottage sleeping 2-3 recently renovated to a high standard. The entrance hall, with adjacent shower room, leads through to the well equipped newly refurbished kitchen/dining area. There is an electric cooker, small fridge/freezer and microwave oven. The comfortable lounge has a television/DVD and wood burning stove. The bedroom leads off the lounge. It has a double and a single bed (sleeping 2-3) with an en-suite bathroom. We also have a double bed settee in the lounge should you need it for extra guests. Please let us know so we can provide additional bedding. Outside is an enclosed patio area overlooking the gardens.

Towels and Linen are provided. A fire will be made up ready for lighting on arrival.

Additional logs may be purchased for a small charge.

A charge of £25.00 will be added for extra bedding if the bed settee is required.

About the Owner

Coedmor was built in the late 18th century. Located on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park, the main house and Two stone holiday cottages stand in an acre of landscaped gardens overlooking the Mawddach Estuary with magnificent views to the Cadair Idris mountain range.

We also have a traditional fisherman's cottage situated in Barmouth Harbour. A perfect location for a romantic break with miles of sandy beaches and cosy inns on your doorstep.

Cader Cottage is located in the heart of the historic market town of Dolgellau, at the base of the Cadair Idris Mountain Range. This traditional 3-storey stone built cottage is an ideal place for that Welsh Retreat.

There are many castles, historic sites and gardens to visit including the famous Portmeirion village, Harlech Castle and Criccieth Castle. With numerous and varied walks quiet lanes and stunning scenery.

Booking Notes:
A minimum deposit of 50% is payable on booking by cheque or card. A 1.5% charge will be applied if paying by credit card. Balance to be paid on or before arrival.
Cancellation Policy: We are a small business and regret that we have to levy a charge in the case of cancellations. We strongly recommend that you take out appropriate holiday insurance. The full deposit will be refunded for cancellations up to 4 weeks before your visit and 50% up to 2 weeks before your visit.

Changeover Day:
The Cottage is let on a weekly basis, Saturday to Saturday, and short breaks are offered during the low season.

Guests are requested to arrive after 2.00 p.m. and to vacate by 10.00 a.m. on the day of departure.

Outside: The garden offers a short woodland walk and meandering paths through the mature gardens and past our old Victorian ice box. Most of the walkways are gravel or grass but there are slate steps and slopes throughout the gardens. We have a fabulous collection of rhododendrons, camellias, azaleas and hydrangeas and the borders are filled with mature flowering shrubs. We have a small stream and pond which is a lovely water feature in the garden and a perfect backdrop for the giant gunnera.
