“Fantastic location and excellent accomodation”
5 of 5 stars. Reviewed for a stay in October 2015
This apartment has a brilliant location, it is immaculate in its presentation and maintains a homely feel. I really enjoyed the views of Britannia Royal Naval college which could be seen from the lounge window; the college is an impressive sight and looks fantastic at night. We have really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely return sometime in the near future. I have read comments in another review about the lift which is located at the side of the apartments front door; this lift was in operation during our stay and I can honestly say that I didn't hear any noise resulting from its use. The allocated car park to this apartment is a godsend, it took the stress out of having to find an available parking space. My daughter is at Britannia Royal Naval College and came to visit one night; she was really impressed by the apartments layout and location; she told me she would highly recommend this apartment to her friends families if they needed quality accommodation in Dartmouth. I highly recommend this apartment too.
Great location for access to Dartmouth town centre, just a very short stroll away. Very clean and modern fittings. Although bathroom was good and fitted shower would have been better. Highly recommended.
This apartment is a real home from home. It’s of a high spec and really comfortable. Highly recommended. Very handy for Britannia Royal Naval College too, easy walking distance.
5 out of 5 could not ask for more clean and comfy. Would stay there again thank you.
The location is very good, near the water's edge. The shops are only a few minutes walk away. Parking included is a big bonus.
Spent 3 nights over New Year. Very comfortable, well-equipped and warm flat. Had everything we needed and very near town centre. Loved it. Had a great time.
Just returned from a great 3 nights stay - apartment exactly as advertised - very clean with everything you could possibly need - easy access to the shops and restaurants - level walking - lift if required - with river views - but the godsend for Dartmouth - its own parking space !!

Further Details:
Dartmouth is in an area of outstanding natural beauty in South Devon situated at the mouth of the River Dart which is one of the most spectacular estuaries in Europe. It has a mild climate & is beautiful throughout the year. The town itself is a delight with lots going on, fascinating old buildings, some of the best restaurants in the West and a greater choice of shops than many much bigger towns. There is also a good selection of pubs selling real ale and good food. There are four major supermarkets two of which are right in the centre of the town as well as a wet fish shop ; butchers, several delicatessens and a couple of bakers (including a super French Boulangerie). Added to that you have some great individual retail shops catering for every possible taste. Most shops, restaurants and cafe are open all year round.
The river and coastline on the doorstep are spectacular. As well as the normal seaside activities including walking and fishing you can use the ferries, buses and the steam train to get around the immediate area. There are two National Trust properties at Coleton Fishacre and Greenway (Agatha Christie’s home) close by. The lovely town of Totnes is only half an hour by car or 45 minutes by ferry area through the beautiful Dart Valley. Just north of Totnes is the Dartington Cider Press Centre, a complex of shops with a wide range including toys, gifts, clothes, jewellery, glassware and kitchen equipment. A little further on is the Riverford Organic Farm and shop with the highly regarded Field Kitchen which is great for both lunch and dinner though you will need to book.
Dartmouth holds a Music Festival in May and a Food Festival in October each year. It also has a famous Regatta held in August with attractions including a funfair in the town; amazing air displays which regularly include the Red Arrows and world class sailing races. The regatta ends with a spectacular firework display over the river.
