Dubarry Downs is our fabulous, fully functional self catering apartment, ideal for families or couples. It sleeps up to four people in two bedrooms (one double and one twin) with an opulently tiled bathroom and a modern well equipped kitchen/diner including a washing machine/dryer, dishwasher, fridge, microwave, oven and hob. It is the ultimate in style with many touches of home comforts, featuring free Wi-Fi, Flat screen TV, bluetooth speakers, luxurious bedlinen and toiletries, plus a Nintendo Wii to keep the kids (old and young) happy.
Dubarry Downs is a ground floor apartment located on the side of the country house, with its own separate access and a small courtyard garden. Motion detectors and dusk to dawn automatic lighting are installed, so if you are returning after dark, it is well lit for your personal security and safety.
Cleveland’s Country House offers good quality self-catering accommodation. All accommodation is tastefully decorated and extremely well equipped to create a cosy, informal and relaxed atmosphere. The grand entrance hall of the country house leads into the elegantly sumptuous lounge, relax in front of the warming log fire on restful, cosy leather sofas. Imagine alfresco dining, BBQ’s, soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the company of a group of friends/family with space for everyone to enjoy. Relaxing with a glass in hand, after a long day of fresh air, whether you have been hiking, cycling or pursuing other activities around the island.

I have three gorgeous, occasionally naughty, friendly dogs that enjoy their walks on the Downs or on one of the islands secluded beaches.

Why Marie Symons chose Isle of Wight
The island is easy to access from Southampton, Portsmouth or Lymington. Incredibly easy journey from Heathrow or Gatwick.
As an avid sailor, I returned to participate either sailing, socialising or both. I have loved the island since working here as a teenager.
The island was an easy choice for me, perfect for dog walking, cycling and of course sailing.
Wroxall is a small semi rural village and friendly.

Personalised and full of character, very welcoming
Can't fault the property or the owner in terms of the welcome and accomodation of our needs. She gave us very good instruction prior to the stay and was only too happy to give personal advice on what to do etc.

The Red Squirrel Trail is couple of minutes walk away, perfect for those who are keen to cycle, walk or horse ride. The trail is along the old Wroxall railway line and goes to Shanklin. Wroxall is also on the Round the Island cycle route. The Extreme Chalk ridge is closeby for those avid mountain bikers!
Ventnor, Shanklin and Sandown with their beautiful beaches are all within a ten minute drive.
Wroxall is a thirty minute drive from East Cowes or Fishbourne car ferry ports. Yarmouth is approximately forty minutes drive away.
Cleveland's is well placed in an area of outstanding natural beauty for cycling and hiking holidays or if you prefer sight seeing by car. The beautiful beaches of Ventnor and Shanklin are closeby ideal for keeping the kids happy!
Local supermarkets are in Lake approximately 5 miles or Ventnor approx 3 miles. Wroxall village has a Spar with cash point machine, post office and pub.

- Notes on accommodation: Shared laundry facilities are available which include a washing machine and dryer, plus ironing facilities. There is also a shared drying room for boots and outdoor wear and a secure bike storage and wash down facilities. The BBQ area and outdoor seating area give you spectacular panoramic views, so imagine yourselves reclining and enjoying the long summer evenings and total relaxation. Please note during the peak summer months that our accommodation operate on weekly lets. Please feel free to make enquiries and if there is availability we will try wherever possible to be flexible. Outside: The country house kitchen leads onto a large patio, with access to barbecue and garden furniture to seat ten guests. Some facilities are shared with other guests i.e. laundry, drying room, lockable cycle storage, barbecue and hose down area. There is outside seating for all accommodation and BBQ facilities.
