This charming apartment is at the bottom of the ski slopes in an attractive, welcoming resort in the Grand Massif ski area, which boasts 265km of pistes. Les Carroz is arguably the most accessible ski resort at this height (1100m at resort level) from Geneva airport (transfer time of under one hour). It is also well placed for a journey to the Alps via the Eurotunnel. Les Carroz also offers a vast number of services and activities for your summer holiday. The apartment is a short 15 minute walk from the town centre with all its amenities.

A professional landlady with a number of rental properties in the U.K. We have enjoyed many winter and summer holidays over the years in Les Carroz in the Grand Massif, Haute Savoie. Now that the children are older, and we can go to our apartment less, we wanted to share all the fun of the French Alps with others. Short transfer times: Les Carroz is one of the most accessible ski resorts in the French Alps from the U.K. whether by car or plane. Less than one hour by car from Geneva. Arguably the closest resort at this height (1100m in the town centre) to the Eurotunnel.

Wonderful ski area: the Grand Massif has 265 km of pistes. Les Carroz is linked to the resorts of Samoens, Morillon and Flaine. The skiing caters for all levels from beginners through to experts.

Superb destination for a summer holiday too: hiking, cycling, downhill biking, outdoor swimming pool and spa complex in Les Carroz with many opportunities to explore the Alps and Switzerland nearby

Notes on accommodation: A ski locker is available for use by guests in the basement of the building. The apartment was refurbished in 2013, so we hope you will enjoy all the home comforts provided. Outside: The south facing balcony provides useful additional space in good weather. Enjoy alfresco dining for up to 6 people in the sunshine, or just make yourself comfortable for a lovely read. The view of the mountains from the apartment is beautiful - please see the photographs for proof. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Why pay for towels and bedding which you don't need? Linen will therefore be charged pro rata according to the number of people in your party - prices available on request. An additional £45 is charged for cleaning at the end of the holiday. Other: Hallway also has fitted wardrobes, coat rack, shelving for ski helmets etc.

Great apartment and location for ski holiday

Great property for skiing. We loved the layout which suited our family of three perfectly, as we could put our son to bed in the bunk room and enjoy some of there evening in the front room.

It is a bit of a hike from the town centre and the majority of the restaurants, our walk back up the hill helped us work off some of the meat and cheese consumed at The Marlow! The trade off is perfect location for getting on the slopes without any hassle, it genuinely is ski in ski out.

Decor is good, kitchen is well provisioned and the apartment has everything you will need for a self catering holiday. Bathroom is well laid out, with plenty of storage. There is also plenty of storage in the rest of the apartment too, large cupboards and plenty of options to get kit stowed away.

Our visit was over Feb half term so inevitably busy. Parking was a bit of an issue and we had to unload the car and then find somewhere to park it on the road which was not ideal, but not really disastrous.

Helen provided great communication throughout the booking process and was a pleasure to deal with. Overall, a great option for a family ski holiday, Very happy to recommend.

A home from home

I highly recommend Helen's flat!! Competitively priced, superbly located for summer and winter, splendidly equipped with all the facilities an English visitor would need. Cosy and warm with easy access; a quiet location with direct access to the piste. Although we knew the village reasonably well, Helen helped by answering all those trivial questions that we travellers need to bottom out. We will certainly be going there again.

Perfect skiing holiday

The Front de Neige is an ideal base for ski in ski out and Helens flat on the first floor is easily accessible. Although its a big complex it was surprisingly quiet during March. The flat is spacious and nicely furnished and has a very homely feel. It is well equipped with plenty of crockery, utensils, dishwasher and has a new kitchen and bathroom - lovely to have plenty of hot water in relaxing bath after a day on the slopes. I slept on the top bunk bed which was very comfy. Lovely outlook from balcony over mountains and village which is a 10 minute walk if you dont have a car plus the free navette shuttle bus runs regularly to the centre and the telecabine. Helen is very helpful and a pleasure to do business with and I would love to re-visit.

Great Ski Appartment

As a group of dads and lads on a half term ski break the apartment gave us superb access to the slopes, direct from the door of the apartment block. With Les Carroz being in my view the best link into the 250km Grand Massif ski area the location is almost unbeatable (unless you like the purpose built concrete blocks of Flaine). Apartment has enough space for families or small groups and is equipped with new appliances of a high standard. Village centre is friendly and provides all day to day needs and is 15 min walk - less if you short cut the winding road via the nursery slopes. Ski bus does come to within 200m of apartment if you time it right. Owner and local agents very helpful and efficient. Difficult to fault - so I won't

what a holiday

What a holiday, we stuck it lucky with the best conditions for over 10 years.

The resort if you don't know it is simply beautiful.

The apartment was perfect with ski in/out.

Just step out the back door ski through a small section of trees and your on the piste or take a one minute walk to the Milk bar that joins another.

The apartment is perfectly equipped with everything you need and a real homely feel. Big deep bath and power shower, a must.

Helen was massively helpful giving loads of inside info .

It is a stroll back up from the town after a night out but there are local restaurants close by and food delivery if your are to exhausted after a brilliant days boarding.

Gi for it you won't be disappointed.

Excellent Ski Appartment

Having been to several skiing apartments in the last twelve years two in Carroz, Helen's place was excellent for us,very clean and tidy,warm plenty of hot water,very well equipped and everything was in good working order.

Access to the hill is good being ski in/out,ski to telecabin1minute,walk into the village by road 10/15 minutes via piste5/10minutes.

Helen has agreed a 20%discount for everyone using her place for skiing at Carroz Sports which we took advantage of, we found them very helpful and friendly!!They are literally 5minutes away at the bottom of the Figaro piste

There is car parking if required, sorting the keys at start and end of stay was easy, we found Helen very easy to deal with in every aspect of our stay and wouldn't hesitate to use her place again.
