Taigh Iain Mhoir is a traditional croft house in the village of Bernisdale, which offers accommodation for up to 6 people. The house has been renovated to a high standard to provide a comfortable, secluded base from which to explore Skye. Relax by the stream which runs through the garden or enjoy the views of the mountains. The house has its own private access and ample off-road parking. No pets allowed.

An Absolute Gem!

We stayed over Christmas and the owner made us feel so welcome with a bottle of prosecco, biscuits and a lovely little Christmas tree in the corner – first time we’ve ever been away for Christmas and this made it a little more special. Although the cottage was cold at first (it was late December!) again, being very thoughtful the owner had added an electric blanket to the downstairs bed (which was incredibly comfortable.) The cottage has everything you would need and is tastefully decorated; we felt really at home so much so that we have booked for another week in August! It is also really nicely located, handy for Portree but not right on the middle of it, lovely views when sitting at table in kitchen. We holiday a lot in self catering places and this is the first one we have booked again before we've even left it! Overall we couldn’t recommend it highly enough!

Lovely house with a perfect location for seeing all that Skye has to offer. The house was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. Added extras were the views, a friendly local cat and regular Eagles flying by :)

Cozy, well-situated holiday house.

Lovely house - even better than it looks in the pictures. Perfectly warm and comfortable. Fantastic, huge bed in the master bedroom! It's not apparent from the photos, but there is a good TV in the living room too.

Nice and comfortable Croft House

We had an enjoyable stay in Isle of Skye. The house is clean, comfortable and well equipped. It is centrally located on the island, so we did not waste time traveling to places.

We are happy for our guests to arrive or depart on any day of the week, although you should note that in busy periods you may be charged for the entire week - ie the whole seven days, even if you are only staying for a few days.
A booking of £100 is required at the time of booking per week booked. Please pay remainder on arrival.
Check-in time is 4pm, check-out time is 10am.
Please note, we operate a No Smoking policy and a No Pets Policy for the maximum comfort of our future guests.

Changeover Day:
Please vacate the house by 10 am on the morning of departure.

Utility Room: Washing machine. There is an outside drying area. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Linen and towels are included. Beds will be made on arrival. Linen is changed weekly. Cleaning takes place before and after each rental.
