Coast/Beach:

10 minutes away are the beaches of Sotogrande and Alcadeisa with sailing school including windsurfing and hobie-cat catamarans. There are two private beach clubs within sotogrande. Cucurocho beach club, open in the summer season, is ideal for families with kids. Tennis and paddle courts are part of the beach club. Sotogrande has also a nice public beach with the typical nice beach restaurants. 35 mins away is Tarifa (speed boat to Marocco), white sandy beaches, kite and windsurfers paradise.

Travel:

Gibraltar Airport is ca. 20 minutes away, Malaga airport is a 50 minutes car drive on the toll road, a brand new toll highway with little traffic. Jerez airport is ca. 1 hour away.

Nearest supermarkets are just 2 kilometers aways in Pueblo Nuevo including huge Supercor, Mercadonna and Lidl. Sotogrande offers dozens of all types of restaurants and bars, especially in the summer it is an entertainment hotspot with the global Polo community enjoying the sun. Puerto Banus' 5 star shopping is a 30 minutes drive. Gibraltar offers duty free shopping. Overall, outstanding infrastructure. Sotogrande becomes quieter in the winter but is does not shut down as many other resorts in Spain.

Notes on accommodation: This is a privately-owned house containing the owners' furniture and possessions and we kindly ask you to treat everything well and that you leave the home as you will find it. Owner himself spends his holidays in the villa. The house is usually well stocked with foodstuff (eg. coffee, water, sugar, sauces, cereals) and cleaning materials and operates on a trust basis which works very well, if guests replace whatever is used. The house has an automatic alarm system linked to Sotogrande Security. Sotogrande is a gated community with exceptional security run by global firm Securitas. Outside: House is perfectly set up for outdoor living. Private heated large swimming pool with six brand new sun beds, one "sun-island" for chill out. Has two seating areas. Brandnew stylish white sofa and chairs by the pool. Dining area under the covered terrace. Build BBQ. Children and not-swimmers must at all times be supervised whilst outdoor. The owner cannot be held liable. Utility Room: Extra fridge, washing machine, dryer Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All beds have duvets and pillows, and are made up with freshly laundered sheets and pillow cases. Cleaning service and linen change by prior arrangement. Swimming and Beach towels are included. All bathroom towels are included. For rentals of more than 7days, a mandatory extra maid service is required for 120 EUR, first and final cl. free

Wonderful villa with amazing garden & pool

This is a wonderful villa set in a beautiful private gated community which is very safe and secure. The garden is amazing, it overlooks the golf course but is very private. It was so peaceful relaxing by the pool with just the sound of the breeze in the trees. With the choice of 3 different barbecues and amazing garden and pool lighting, we had to force ourselves to go out in the evening. We only stayed 1 week unfortunately which was not enough. We have not been to the Sotogrande area previously but thoroughly recommend it. The marina is lovely with plenty of bars and restaurants and is just a short drive away. The photos on the website do not do the villa and gardens justice. Dirk, the owner, and Gary, the villa manager, were both very helpful and friendly. If you plan to visit the Sotogrande area we thoroughly recommend this beautiful villa.

Fantastic Stay

Wonderful villa set in stunning grounds. Lovely location and very quiet area overlooking the golf course. The villa is very well maintained, clean and very comfortable. My kids loved the pool. Often you find properties with great looking pools but waist deep. This has a deep end which is always better. Great additions included three BBQ's and full SKY TV package, and all important wifi (which worked!.. not the norm in Spain!) Owners are excellent and genuinely wanted to make sure we had everything we needed. I really could not fault the service from Dirk from start to finish. You will need a car in this area, with shops around a 5 minute drive away. We are already planning to return. Highly recommend!

A superb holiday

What a wonderful place to spend two weeks - complete luxury!

This villa has everything you could ever need, want and wish for. We have certainly been spoilt this year for sure and hope to return sometime in the future.

We travelled to this villa as two families, four adults, three children (aged 3, and two 6 year olds). It was very safe and secure and never once did I feel I had to worry about the children's whereabouts. Sotogrande is a gated community and the Villa is well into this community. Security are never far away and ride the streets at night.

Swimming daily in the pool with peace and tranquillity was out of this world (with the occasional sound of someone teeing off). Views across the green were beautiful as were the gardens with donut peach trees and lime trees in it.

Everything in the villa was spotless and plenty of bedding, bathroom towels and outside towels available to use.

There wasn't just one BBQ... but three to choose from!

The full sky package and a top of the range Sonos system.

The gardeners came at least twice a week and the pool men every other day. The only thing I may suggest is that the cleaners come in automatically once a week. (Probably my error as the contract did say this could be have been arranged).

The owner of the villa visits here himself with his family and therefore this place is well looked after. He provides excellent customer service and I exchanged many emails with him prior to our visit and even a phone call. He was of great use.

Garry, who deals with the key handover was very pleasant too and full of useful information.

The 'use the groceries/replace the groceries' idea works well as it means there is usually something for you to drink/snack on as soon as you arrive although supermarkets are only ten minutes drive away.

15 minutes from Gibraltar (airport) and just over an hour to Malaga.

Car definitely needed.

Markets down at the Marina worth a visit as is the Marina itself and restaurants.

Excellent!!

From the first communications with th owner to post our stay, he could not have been more helpful. We even had a text from him on our first night wishing us a good holiday.

The house is perfect and very well equipped with all modern facilities including music system and super speedy wifi.

It is also spotlessly clean everywhere and the bed linen crisp and laundered.

The pool area is beautiful with lovely landscaping and a good number of sun ends and outdoor furniture.

I thoroughly recommend this house and hope to return.

Fantastic villa and a wonderful holiday

We would highly recommend this villa. The villa is very spacious, clean and comfortable with all the amenities you need. It felt very homely, secure and well equipped including a great Sonos sound system, SKY tv to include SKY cinema and air conditioning. It is in a fabulous position in a very beautiful, private area. Outside is stunning, the views, the gardens and the wonderful pool. The gardens are superb and so well kept as is the pool which is exceptionally clean.The photos really don't do this villa justice. Overall, our time spent at this villa was our best yet and we have been to many villas. The communication with the owner and the villa manager was a pleasure, very professional and friendly. The information provided to include directions to the villa, restaurants, information about the area etc was very informative. We will definitely book again, thank you for the wonderful experience of staying in your beautiful home!

Excellent

Excellent experience from start to finish, lots of great communication from the owner from the very first inquiry, then was met at the house by Garry, very friendly and helpful, on hand for any problems though we didn't have any. An excellent villa, very comfortable with great outdoor space, felt very private as you're not overlooked by anyone. It's in a fantastic location surrounded by other stunning villas and the golf course. It's a short walk to the golf clubhouse and only a short ten minute drive down to the beach club and marina. The pool is a great size and gets the sun all day, perfect set up for a relaxing family holiday.

Rental charges are individually agreed by email and confirmed in writing via rental contract signed by owner and tennant. Payment is in Euro.
To book, a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total rental charge is required. Bank transfer is accepted.
Upon payment of the deposit, you will receive confirmation of your reservation and a receipt for monies paid
The outstanding balance should be paid in a full 8 weeks prior to arrival date, along with a 500 EUR refundable deposit against damages.

Changeover Day:
During peak season change over day is usually Saturday. Arrival: 3 pm, Departure: 10 am. Outside peak season and dependent on bookings we are very flexible.

Notes on prices:
Prices are fully inclusive of all electricity (24hrs air con, hot and cold water, first cleaning, on extra cleaning fees see below), Discounts available for bookings of only 2 persons.

Important: Parties who stay two weeks are more will be charged an interim cleaning fee of 140 EUR - interim cleaning is usually after 7 days or in the middle of your holiday period
