About the Owner

We are Paula and Ray and we have lived in this village for 15 years and got to know the area very well. The people are very friendly country folk, mainly,so we have settled in well and love the quiet countryside. We have renovated both our properties and still ongoing with that. I am an artist,in oils, watercolours and craft patchwork.I have done wall mosaics and hangings. Also love horse riding and we have four equines, sometimes at the gite. I (Ray) like gardening and in my spare time I am restoring an old Triumph Spitfire which I enjoy very much. Both Paula and I hope to see you if you decide to take a break with us.

A lovely Gite, Its very clean and airy well equipped and comfortable. We love the large lawns, secret walled garden and sitting under the veranda listening to the sound of the birds and very little else! Ideal if you want peace and quiet on your holiday away from the hustle and bustle. Its situation is pretty central for sightseeing the areas beauty spots , we even ventured into Belguim! This was our second visit and we hope to come again in the future.

Absolutely amazing location, house and holiday.

Myself and my partner and two girls had a fantastic time, totally exceeding all our expectations. The house is very spacious with the conversion being the ideal place for the children. Both adults and kids can enjoy the same space without feeling cramped. It's private with a large outdoor area to play, relax and dine. I can't forget the added bonus of the horses and donkey.

Amazing venue and owners.

From the Owner

We bought the property partly for the house to run as a gite, also for the horses. The facilities are very good for over-wintering with the barns and and the field behind.

From the Owner

The benefits for staying in the property are that the house has a very cosy feel. Also the gite is independent and private. It also benefits from large grounds and pleasant walled gardens. The gite is located within a short distance of the shops so if you have forgotten something it's not a problem.
