Chapel Cottage Sleeps 2 (1 Bedroom)

Forming part of the converted Chapel there are four cottages that offer open plan accommodation, comprising a ground floor sitting room, comfortably furnished with Freeview TV, DVD and CD/radio. A large Gothic style window, with superb views south across the Fowey Valley, is complemented by floor length drapes and a window seat. The fully equipped kitchen incorporates a fridge, freezer, oven, hob and microwave. Stairs lead to the gallery bedroom with double bed and en-suite shower room.

Fountain cottage bed can be split into twin beds, Rose and Cloisters cottage also have a bed settee ideal if you are also looking to accommodate a child (additional charges do apply).

Beautiful building and lovely people

We had booked this cottage online and without any reviews and also paid by bank transfer which had made us a bit dubious but from that moment on we were kept up to date by Pia, On arrival we definitely knew we had made the right choice. The cottage is part of the old chapel and had a lounge/diner/kitchen with a bedroom and en suite on the mezzanine. Really handy to the A390 for exploring this great county and just a 10 min. stroll into the village which has 2 supermarkets and several pubs, plus antique shops. A big plus is Free Parking in the Village! The people were great, Pia, her father Nigel and her mother who's name escapes me. They were very helpful in all manners of ways, be it information about local sites or just enjoying a friendly chat. We intend going back sometime with friends. Really enjoyed our stay.
