I enjoy the outdoors and have loved holidaying in the bungalow on many occasions over the past 30 years. Our two boys now enjoy playing on the beach and in the sea too. Lovely bungalow near the beach

We enjoyed our holiday at this bungalow. There are great views of the sea from this property and the garden. It has a cosy feel with good size lounge and 2 bedrooms, the kitchen and third bedroom being more compact. Sennen beach is a five minute walk away, down a steep hill, which is great for surfing and there's easy access to the coastal path with a lovely walk to Lands End in particular. Sennen Cove has a few small shops, fish and chips and a restaurant on the beach, and it's pleasant to wander along the sea front and see the lifeboat. We found the property clean and in good order and it suited our family of 5. It was a good base for exploring the local area with is lovely beaches and attractions. We would recommend it!

Comfortable & well equipped in ideal location

Perfect base in ideal location for Sennen Cove beach. Bungalow is spacious with sleeping arrangements comprising two double rooms and one twin room with bunk beds. Kitchen is very well equipped & everything is clean and well maintained..., local beaches are beautiful and the Coastal Paths offer some stunning walks..., plenty of decent restaurants in the local area..., we would definitely go back

Wonderful holiday home

Good communication, great directions and information pack, well equipped bungalow with all that you would need for a holiday (including lots of beach equipment).

Will definitely be booking again, as spent most of the week on the beach rather than exploring the local area...will do that next time we go!

Great location for a Family holiday.

The owners were so helpful and lovely to deal with. The property was just as described and had everything we needed, the enclosed rear garden was fantastic and the off road parking was great. The beach was within walking distance, but it was so easy to drop all the beach equipment and children off and return the car, then just a short walk back to the beach.Great location for travelling to different places, spoilt for choice of supermarkets only 15 mins away. All the beaches we visited were beautiful and not crowded at all, we all had such a fantastic time. We all felt we could of stayed a few more days (including two teenage girls)! Super holiday, Super accommodation and outstanding location. We would definitely return.

Cosy bungalow in an idyllic location

We went for a week long holiday with my mum, wife and two kids (aged one and five). The property was spacious and comfortable enough for all of us, probably would have been big enough even for a few more guests. Everything was in good working order and it seemed like most parts of the house have been recently redecorated. The only room which was a bit dated was the kitchen, but everything functioned perfectly well there, too.

The house is well-equipped in general, so if you follow the instructions sent through after booking, you really have everything you need for your stay. There were some spades, buckets and other useful items for the beach in the garage, which was quite handy.

The property is in a quite cul-de-sac and the whole village itself is a bit sleepy which was ideal for us. The village shop is a short walk. It's ok for a few essentials, but you probably want to do a bigger shopping in Penzance as you approach. The beach is also a short walk down the hill, no more than 10 minutes. There are some steep steps as you go down, but both my 5-year old daughter and my mum managed them without any issues. If you want to go down with a buggy or wheelchair, it should still be possible, but you need to go in the road for a short section and the route is also a bit longer. We did that as well on a few occasions, it's a 30 mph road and pedestrian traffic is quite common on it, so we had no problems with the cars.

The beach itself was sandy and clean. It's on the edge of the village and you can find close to there the usual things you might be looking for (a nice restaurant, some pubs, chippies and ice cream parlours. You can pick up some beautiful coastal paths from there, either towards Land's End (less than an hour) or towards Cape Cornwall (it took us the better part of the day to get to Cape Cornwall, but we did it with the kids, probably could have done it in about two hours if it was just the missus and myself).

All in all, we had a very enjoyable stay in Sennen in this bungalow! The location offered a lot of interesting places to explore close by and we could quickly get to St Ives as well which I wanted to visit for a long time. Five stars!

Lovely Easter Stay

Had a lovely stay with the wife and dog here at Easter.

The property is in a great location with superb sea views. Inside it was clean and tidy. There is a good pub (for both food and drink) within walking distance, we found this a good place to finish off our many dog walks around the area.

Location

This property was bought by my grandparents as a holiday home when I was a baby. It was bought because of its amazing views, peaceful location and proximity to the beach. I have many fantastic memories of traipsing back to the bungalow after days spent on the beach. Now living in Lancashire with two small boys, we don't get down there as much as we'd like and with the property having recently been renovated in 2011 we have decided to rent out the bungalow to cover the cost of its upkeep.

Activity and Interests

Coast/Beach:

The stunning Whitesand Bay with it's perfect stretch of golden sand is only a 10 minute walk from the property. There is easy access to footpaths and the rugged coastal path and a great circular walk, taking in Land's End on the way. There are also local footpaths to inland walks across rambling countryside.

Travel:

Newquay airport is approx 1hr away.

Penzance train station is 15-20 min away.

Distances:

The properties are located in the heart of the village, and are in walking distance of the beach and Land's End. The town of St Just with it's quaint shops and art galleries is a 5 mile drive from the properties, and Penzance just 10 miles away is a bigger town with high street shops, supermarkets etc.

Breathtaking outdoor Minack theatre is 5 minutes drive away and is well worth a visit.

Further Details:

The property is located in the heart of the village with the local shop and post office approximately 5 minutes walk away. The village has two pubs both with restaurants which can both be reached from the property by foot
