House in Colombiers, Nr. Beziers, Herault, Languedoc-Roussillon, France - Peaceful Location 3 Minutes Walk To The Canal Du Midi Yet Close To Beautiful Beaches

15 Grand Rue is a town house (maison de ville) in the midst of the ancient village of Colombiers near Beziers in the Languedoc region of France. It sleeps 5 and a short walk away from the Canal du Midi and 5 miles from Beziers. Beautiful beaches are a 20 minute drive away and about one hour from Perpignan, Montpelliers and Carcassone airports. Only 30 minutes drive from Beziers airport. Our village is a maze of little streets. Colombiers is more open and cosmopolitan than some French villages, having additional restaurants, bars and a small supermarket to cater for the boat trade that travel along the Canal du Midi in the summer. In half an hour you could be walking in the foothills of the Haut Languedoc National Park or trying wines in the countless Domaines throughout the region. If you want the beaches, the bars, the night life, they aren't far away. If you want to sit in the shade of the plane trees that line the canal with a picnic, you can do that as well. If you want history there is more than you could possibly want within an hours drive.

Outside: Leisure equipment is available at the house for our guests use i.e. sun loungers, patio furniture. beach umbrella and games. Boats and cycles can be hired by the hour or day down at the port area in the village. Utility Room: Washing machine on ground floor Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: House made ready for guest arrival with beds made up. Hand towels, bath towels and tea towels are provided (not beach towels). Arrangements can be made for change of linen for longer stays. Other: From the living room there is French windows onto a small balcony overlooking our pretty street. The old garage on ground floor has been converted into a covered garden room with additional seating to enable seats to be taken outside.
