This property has the best of everything, quiet & peaceful, open and spacious villa. It has a large south facing pool which means you can sunbathe or swim until late on a summers evening, making the most of your holiday and a shaded terrace allowing you to relax or eat outside. 6 bedrooms and a large living area Good Wi-Fi and Air conditioning to all the house including bedrooms. A really big basement with cinema and seating for 12 people, snooker table, ping pong table, dart board, gym equipment an area for playing cards or board games. There is a basket ball net in the garden. Ideally located to walk without taxis to the marina, port, beach, restaurants and shops. Private driveway with remote controlled gate. It is not suitable for short stays or large parties that may create excess noise as it is situated in an exclusive residential area. Please note the fence around the pool has been removed.

About Ellie and Mario

We are a family who enjoy this home and its location tremendously. Our family enjoys bar-b-ques and eating out on the terrace, the large pool garden and the basement with ping pong, snooker, board games and card table.

Our goal is that you have a great time and perhaps in the future visit our villa again.

Why Ellie and Mario chose West Costa del Sol

The property was not bought to rent which means we haven't compromised on the things that are important. The villa is South facing which means you can benefit from long lazy days in the sun. Remote controlled shutters and alarm. Electronic gate to enter up to 4 cars.

It's location is perfect. Close enough to walk to shops and Iceland Supermarket, restaurants, disco and bars but more importantly in a quiet residential area, there is no need to drive if you don't want to!

Notes on accommodation: An incredibly large cool basement with cinema, snooker table, ping pong table, dart board, card and game area and some gym equipment. 3 double beds are superking size! The swimming pool is a good size so you can swim lengths too. Very large freezer for all your ice-cream and lollies which means you won't need to go to the supermarket so often. Lots of sun loungers and shower next to pool. Outside: The property has a large pool with steps leading in. Basket ball net in garden. Various inflatables and childrens toys, scooter etc. The property has parking for 4 cars and an electronic gate. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: A cleaner/maid service is included. Extra cleaning and kitchen staff can be arranged at extra cost. Garden and pool are maintained twice a week.

We had a lovely time staying at the villa and visiting the surrounding area. There were supermarkets close by and many restaurants and take away facilities. The villa, pool and gardens were superbly maintained throughout the week,

Fantastic Villa & Great Hosts

We stayed at the villa for a week in early August 2016. We were a group of 3 families (with 2 kids each), 12 in total. We found the villa to have fantastic facilities, very spacious and in a great location.

We found the villa to be maintained to a very high level, security was great, especially for the children. Mario met us upon arrival, showed us around the villa, and even took us for a drive to get our bearings, really useful. Ellie was fantastic through out the booking and with suggestions for our stay. They really made us feel this was our home for the week.

We would thoroughly recommend this villa.

Absolutely Fantastic Villa 5*

What can I say we have just come back from the most fantastic 2 week family holiday we’ve ever had. We had always wanted to do a Villa holiday but had reservations about booking things separately Villa, flight etc. but after this holiday we will certainly be doing it again.

The Villa itself is fantastic, a beautiful home with everything you could ask for, big spacious rooms, plenty of sun loungers, outdoor eating area, BBQ (we certainly enjoyed plenty of those while we were there) We were a family of 13 age ranging from 2-58 and the Villa certainly catered for us all. The kids especially loved the pool and it was a reassurance for us adults with the pool being fenced they couldn’t get in easily.

The Villa is well located, only 5mins walk to the nearest shop and bar and 10-15mins to the beach and the port, where there are some lovely bars and restaurants. There is even a small theme park called Marbella Land where the kids liked to go on a night. There is a really helpful manual in the Villa which gives you plenty of information about the area and lots of leaflets about places to go.

As there were so many of us we didn’t want to be hanging about the airport looking for Taxi’s so we booked a mini bus through Malaga Airport Transfers.com They were really good, provided car seats for the kids and picked us up on time. They were English speaking to which was helpful.

Out of it all though the biggest thing that helped make this holiday were the owners, Mario and Ellie. They were so helpful throughout the whole process. They kept in contact throughout the booking, were there to meet us when we arrived, and even kept in touch during the holiday to make sure everything was ok for us and if there was anything they could do. They certainly made the whole process so easy, a big thank you to them.

We will certainly be recommending it to our friends and family and will definitely be going back.

Very desirable holiday location

The villa is 40 minutes from Malaga Airport via the toll motorway (7.45€ each way) - we used Helle Hollis for car hire (check reviews on TripAdvisor). It is simply a first class property, exceptionally appointed, well equipped, private and spotlessly clean. The photos are accurate and understate the grandeur and homeliness of the place. Great comms with the owners throughout the booking process and during our stay. The cleaner visited twice which was welcome. The villa will easily accommodate large families/groups of all ages; no risk of you all getting on top of each other. Mobile signals (3G through Orange, Movistar & Vodafone ES) were fine with good reception on all our devices. Limited access to English television channels but hey – this is Spain! But if you really want to keep connected to your favourite TV shows or UK sport, a small discrete Sky box would easily fit in your luggage and would be very simple to cable in (upon securing permission from the villa’s owners of course, Ellie & Mario). Internet connection is just over 2Mbs which is more than adequate for surfing although ‘live’ streaming was asking a bit too much of the connection, especially during the evenings. The wi-fi signal found its way to all four corners of the house.

The villa is in a quiet locale but ideally situated close to local shops, bars and the centre of Puerto Banus itself. We recommend a trip travelling by Segway to Marbella along the golden mile – massive fun. The 'Fresh Food Cafe' and 'Links Bar' were smashing places for breakfasts and Sunday lunch respectively (both English speaking). The LunaPesca (a 40ft modern vessel in the marina with an English-speaking skipper) afforded us a fabulous sea-fishing trip; an absolute must if only to see the dolphins, go for a swim off the boat, or just relax (don’t forget your sea legs though!).

Finally, this was the first time we used Owners Direct for our holiday rental and given we booked only a few days before flying out, the owners requested that we wire the holiday balance and deposit directly (i.e. no credit card, PayPal, assurances, etc.). We were a little apprehensive with this procedure, but our fears were totally unfounded. The housekeeper met us at the villa, as arranged and our deposit was returned within 48 hours of arriving back in the UK.

The owners, Ellie and Mario, were simply superb and reliable hosts and we have no hesitation in recommending their home to any prospective holidaymaker.

What a fantastic family holiday....

We have just returned from a wonderful family holiday at this Villa, and we all wanted to stay!!

We booked this Villa after hours of trawling the Owners direct site, looking for a villa that would suit the needs of our family (age range 5-70 and 11 of us!) and we are so pleased we did.

We arrived a little early as we had taken the morning flight but Mario met us at the villa and we left our bags with him whilst we walked down for a well earned beer!! We meandered back to the villa at 3pm to meet Mario and get ourselves sorted...

The floor plan for our family was fantastic, two rooms In the basement with a shared bathroom for the teenagers and nearly teenage boys, ground floor double with ensuite for my partner and I and then second floor for the master room, twin room and double with an extra single in it.

Mario and Ellie provided a much appreciated welcome pack with wine, beer, bread, cereal etc, Mario then took my sister and I for a quick driven tour of Puerto Banus and then dropped us at the supermarket.

Because there was 11 of us we did eat in most of the time, the Mercado and supador are fantastic value and much nicer than the Hyper market in town.

We didn't hire a car but found it an easy walk to the marina and the beach (about 10 mins) this is the first time I have not hired a car on holiday and to be honest we didn't need it, we hailed taxi's from the supermarket back to the villa for about 6euros.

As a family we really enjoyed the being by the pool, having a BBQ of an evening and generally chilling, there is enough space within the villa to have your own time out...

The basement was so cool and I think the children enjoyed being able to have somewhere to escape from the heat of the sun...

We walked down and had dinner up past the Marina a couple of times during the holiday but waking out with a group of 11 age range from 5-70 is a military operation!!, it is also a slow process with us ogling the cars and super yachts! The teenagers headed down town most night and I was quite happy about this (safe)

All in all I would really recommend this villa, we loved it and would definitely go back

A great family holiday was enjoyed by all.

The property was exactly as described - in fact if anything it was understated .There were 7 adults and 5 children in our party and there was ample room for all of us . Games/cinema room was a big bonus for the children and pool facilities were excellent. The property was very clean and well maintained and very well equipped. Both Mario and Ellie proved excellent hosts - nothing was too much trouble . Would recommend this to any friends or relatives.
