Set within a tranquil gated community, amidst well-cared for gardens, the property is on 2 floors plus roof terrace with panoramic views to the mountains and sea. It has its own front door leading to a large open-plan lounge/dining area with 2 comfortable sofas and stylish dining table and 6 chairs. There are two sets of patio doors giving access to a west facing terrace, with awning, table and chairs for outside dining. The well-appointed kitchen and the cloakroom are also on this level. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms. One has two single beds which can be arranged as a double, fitted wardrobes and bedside table. The main bathroom, adjacent, has, wc, wash-basin, bidet and bath with shower over. The master-bedroom has a large double bed, fitted wardrobes with safe, bedside chests of drawers and a large chest of drawers with mirror above. Patio doors give access to a west-facing terrace with awning, table and two chairs. It has views across the golf course and valley. The en-suite bathroom has wash-basin, wc, bidet and bath with shower over. An adjacent door leads to a glazed terrace/storage area housing cushions for roof terrace furniture with a spiral staircase to the spacious roof solarium with its stunning views. It has sun-loungers, a large table and six chairs, BBQ, fridge and sink. It also has irrigated pot-plants and a pergola with retractable awning. The nearest beaches are only 7 minutes drive away. Glamorous Puerto Banus and Marbella with abundant night-life, shopping and restaurants lie 10 and 15 minutes away respectively. The charming town of San Pedro is 5 minutes by car. La Quinta Golf Club & Spa is nearby with the golf club also offering a Kids' Club. The adjacent Melia Hotel has excellent restaurants. Golf is available at La Quinta as well as a variety of other renowned courses e.g Las Brisas and Aloha. A wide variety of sports on the Costa del Sol beaches are 3 km away. The spectacular cities of Cordoba and Granada are approximately 2 hours drive and Seville and Sierra Nevada Ski Resort - 2.5 hours drive.

We bought our property in 2006 having fallen in love with La Quinta Hills. We had been visiting the area for a few years and when we looked at La Quinta Hills we decided that was where we wanted to be. Some of the owners live here so that was attractive to us. It is a well run friendly community in a gated complex with 4 shared pools. We can always find a quiet spot at the pools even in high season. Out of school holidays we are often the only people at the pool.The complex is quiet, with lovely gardens and has amazing views to the mountains, sea and golf-course, yet it is a short drive to beaches and the many restaurants in Puerto Banus and San Pedro. We have been out here most months of the year and there is always a good mix of families,young people and retired people like us.

We love the tranquility of La Quinta Hills. It only takes about 10 minutes by car to get to Puerto Banus and San Pedro. There are good restaurants and a supermarket less than 5 minutes away. We can see the hills, the sea and the golf course from our terraces. We can park the car easily near our apartment. The nearest golf Cub is just down the hill.
What makes this apartment unique
Having 4 pools to choose from is great. Out of school holidays there is often no one at the pools. Even when it's busy we can find a sunbed at one of the pools. Being in a gated complex makes it feel more secure. We come here with our grandchildren, our grown up children and retired friends and everybody finds something that they like about it.

Excellent apartment. Highly recommend!
As a family of 3 we stayed in this lovely apartment for 10 days recently. The location, layout and facilities were as described and more than met our expectations. The apartment was tastefully decorated throughout, with good quality comfortable furniture. It was obvious to us that the owners treat it as their second home, judging by the well equipped kitchen. Cupboards were well stocked, and if we used anything we replaced it before we left. It was clean and very well maintained. We were provided with a change of sheets and towels during our stay. From the point of enquiry onwards the owners provided excellent customer service, and were more than happy to speak or email us prior to our leaving with any questions or information we required. The views from the balconies and roof terrace were stunning. We hired a car for the duration of our stay and would recommend having one, although facilities at the nearby golf resort are in walking distance. There was plenty of choice of restaurants in nearby Benahavis, San Pedro, and Puerto Banus. We have stayed before in the Estepona area but not specifically at La Quinta Hills. We would certainly return to this area, and especially to this property, and would highly recommend.
Wonderful and relaxing
My wife and I both enjoyed our time at La Quinta. The resort is wonderful and relaxing. I am a keen golfer and it was very easy to arrange morning golf at this and neighbouring resorts. If you do arrange golf I'd suggest using Golf In Spain as they offered a very easy booking service and lower prices. The apartment itself overlooks the golf course and is very tranquil. We particularly liked the balcony off the living room where we had our morning breakfast and relaxed at night. The Owners of this apartment are clearly very organised and thoughtful when it comes to their guests. Everything was spotlessly clean when we arrived and there were clear instructions everywhere to tell us how to do things. We also appreciated the fact that there was milk in the fridge so that we could have a cup of tea when we arrived and they even provided a bottle of wine and water. All they ask is that you leave something similar for the next tenants. Another nice touch was the fact that there were basic condiments in the cupboards. In the past we have stayed at apartments where there was absolutely nothing provided and we had to buy everything from scratch. These little touches are what make staying in an Owners apartment so much better than a holiday apartment or hotel. There were also towels and other things provided that you don't always think of when packing. Needless to say these little touches made our stay much easier and more enjoyable. The apartment itself was very comfortable and spacious and we were very sad to leave La Quinta.
Couple of tips for others. If you stay in La Quinta Hills then you can access all the pools. We mInly used the top pool as it is the biggest one. I think there are two others. Also try out the gym and spa at the golf club which we found wonderful. The hotel there is also pretty amazing. If you want to get off site then head to Puerto Banus for some bling or San Pedro for something more local. Either one is a 10 minute drive.
To sum up I would definitely recommend this apartment to others.

had a wonderful holiday ..beautiful views of African coast from roof terrace although too hot to sunbathe up here ,but fab for a chilled glass of wine and particularly loved the ability to bbq up here... it was great .Apartment well equipped and had a homely touch.

A car is essential and it was so quite but still within 10 minutes from the hustle and bustle of puerto banus.
Summer in the sun
Just returned from a 2 week family holiday - great apartment, exactly as described with a lot of home touches. Good support while we were there in arranging an engineer to reset the STB so that we could receive UK channels ( during World Cup/ F1 at Silverstone /Wimbledon finals...!).
Location wise in a great spot re views across the golf course and out to the hills, yet only 5 mins from the main roads and nearest motorway exit, and about 15 mins from Benahavis with its wide range of restaurants
The rooftop area is great for early morning sun ( in fact all day sun although can get v warm up there )
Owners were a pleasure to deal with and arranged a rapid return of the security deposit

Activity and Interests
10 minutes drive takes you to the beaches of Puerta Banus, a further 5 minutes to the beaches of Marbella. In the opposite direction, San Pedro can be reached in 10 minutes and Estepona a further 5 minutes.
A car is recommended although taxis are readily available and a bus goes from the Melia hotel several times a day to the port and beach. Malaga & Gibraltar are equidistant from La Quinta about 45 minutes drive.
In addition to San Pedro de Alcatara, Puerto Banus and Marbella, the mountain village of Benahavis, with its famous gastronomic restaurants is approximately 20 mins. drive. The historic town of Ronda with its legendary gorge and bull-ring is about 1 hour away. Further down the coat Duquesa is a lovely day trip and takes about 30 mins. There are may mountain villages nearby.
There is a small shop/delicatessen at La Quinta Golf Club and 5 minutes drive will take you to a supermarket and some restaurants. There are numerous banks, supermarkets and restaurants in San Pedro and Puerto Banus as well as in the surrounding areas. There is a large indoor shopping mall 'La Canada' just before you reach Marbella.

Directions, information leaflet about the apartment and keys will be supplied on receipt of final payment. Please also note if there is a same day changeover we ask that you arrive after 2pm and depart by 11am.
Changeover day is normally Saturday but this can be flexible especially in low season.

- Notes on accommodation: The apartment has heating/air-conditioning. There is an extra fan in the main bedroom for when air-conditioning is not needed and 2 extra oil-filled radiators for when only one or 2 rooms need a a bit of heat. There is a cot with bedding and a high-chair which attaches to an ordinary chair. A hair-dryer is provided. All windows have fly-screens which means you can sleep with windows open if air-conditioning is not needed. Outside: The west facing terraces overlook communal gardens and the golf course. The downstairs terrace has a dining table and 4 chairs with lovely views to the valley and mountains. The terrace from the master bedroom has a table and 2 chairs ideal for early morning tea/coffee or watching the sunset in the evenings. The roof terrace has a large table and 8 chairs plus various sun loungers. There is a BBQ, sink and large tiled worktop. If shade is required, there is a sun umbrella as well as a pergola with awning that can be drawn. There are 4 shared pools which are not very busy even in high season, the nearest being a few steps from the front door. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen are included. If renting for more than a week a change of towels and linen will be supplied. Beach towels are provided. Cot and bedding for cot stored under bed in master bedroom.
