Summer Holiday

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay at Clesanie. Annie & Gerard were the perfect hosts, very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The gite is very pretty in a peaceful setting and very near to the croissant shop! Everything we needed was supplied and the weather was also very sunny. Really enjoyed driving round Normandy and visiting local areas, and pleasantly surprised by the empty roads.

Would love to visit again. A very relaxing holiday.

Easter break

  • 5 of 5

We had a lovely weeks break at Clesanie - the cottage was beautiful and met our needs perfectly, the weather was also perfect. We explored the local area from Honfleur to The Amercican Cemetry and Omaha beach and also caught a train into Paris as a highlight to our holiday.

Rouen is a lovely city that is easy to get to but also very nice to spend the day at with numerous places to eat whilst you admire the architecture.

Our hosts were excellent and made us very welcome on our arrival and also got up at 6am on the day we were leaving to say au revior.

Very enjoyable holiday and would recommend to others.

The property was as described and well equipped. Set in a small village with a few useful shops and a secure gated location. Annie and Gerard were very friendly and welcoming although they could not speak any English. Lots of places to visit in the area with info in the Gite. We had a great holiday and got around easily in our car. The only slight downside was that the bed was not very comfortable. Graham & Shirley
