Clean, basic, large garden
Owner was present when we arrived but did not show us around the property. There was no welcome pack stating nearest beach, GP, hospital, pubs, recommended walls etc etc...
We were told to bring our own towels and that bedding was provided.
The bedding was the ONLY thing provided.
No bin bags, no washing up liquid, no hoover ( there was a brush but the bristles were well worn) and the best was no toilet roll!
All kitchen utensils were cheap and the cutlery looked as though it was out of a cheap picnic hamper set.
We found the location of the property quite remote and the lanes would certainly be quite treacherous for a family with young children to walk around safely as the cars speed around the corners.
Oh...final gripe is that there is very limited WIFI, as the hub is located in the owners house next door. Vodafone is the only provider and to be honest that was very patchy...
Would come back to the Lleyn peninsula as it is beautiful but not back to this property.

Owner was around when we arrived but did not show us around the property. There was no welcome/information pack available which would have been handy.
We were told to bring our own towels as the bedding was provided.
That was the only thing that was provided.
There was no washing up liquid ( even a dribble would have sufficed), no toilet roll?? no bin bags for the kitchen bin, no hoover just a brush with a few sad bristles attached.
The kitchen utensils were very crude and the cutlery looked as though it was from a cheap picnic hamper set.
The WIFI was extremely limited as the main hub was next door at the owners property and connection only possible from a bench outside the owners house.
Vodafone is the only provider accessible but this was very limited and extremely slow.
The property is quite remote and reached by a single track, the main road in would be quite treacherous for a family with young children to walk safely as the cars speed around the corner coupled with the tractors and trailers.
I would certainly visit the Lleyn peninsula again but not this property
Ideal base to explore the peninsula and Snowdonia
My wife, 3 children (11,13,15) and Dog stayed here in August and were very pleasantly surprised with the Barn's layout, size, facilities and position (always a bonus when the reality is even better than the pictures). There are many beautiful beaches to explore nearby and most allow dogs on all or part of the beach. So much to explore besides: Snowdonia, Castles, Zip wires! A quiet and relaxing spot in an idyllic part of Wales.
Beautiful, spacious and comfy place, great for dogs with large garden, owners very friendly and always there to help if needed, location is great to escape to and relax but there is also plenty of great things to do not far away and beautiful sights to see and great walks for the dogs, look forward to going back to the cottage
Cosy cottage in fantastic location
We stayed here for 3 nights in late September. The cottage is in a truly peaceful location for the perfect getaway, and just 10 mins drive from 3 beautiful beaches in Nefyn and Morfa Nefyn.
We found the cottage warm and cosy, well furnished and well equipped for our short stay, in fact we wished we could have stayed longer. The garden at the back is a real sun trap and our little dog - on her first holiday - had a great time running around investigating the new smells of the countryside (including the cows in the neighbouring field!).
The cottage is ideally located for travelling all around the Llyn Peninsula by car. We had a wonderful holiday and will definitely be returning.
Stayed at the property for the weekend and really enjoyed our stay. The property was as described in the description and set ina beautiful rural location.
The property was clean and well furnished and Gywn ( the owner) was helpful and prompt in his responses to e-mails etc.
The local area has lots to do with some fantastic beaches and the local pub was as described! We also enjoyed some lovely local walks.
We will certainly be booking again!

Our barn conversion is a quiet secluded spot and an ideal base to explore the beautiful Llyn Peninsular, or to simply relax in the cottage or large garden and forget about the rest of the world. The barn was converted to a high standard by ourselves 5 years ago and is situated adjacent to our farm house at Ty Newydd Ceidio, near Morfa Nefyn (2 miles).
It is surrounded by mature trees in a quiet, peaceful location, has parking for two cars. Boat parking is also available free, if required.
The croglofft bedroom has a double bed, the ground floor bedroom has a single and bunks.
A well-behaved dog is welcome, but dogs are not allowed in the bedroom or on the furniture/beds - any doubts, or more than one dog, please call us first!
The beach shown in the first photo is within 2 1/2 miles of the property, a wonderful family pub The Bryncynan is within walking distance. The horses in the gate are a couple of fields up the road.

It is sometimes possible to add on extra days to your stay, please ask.
Croeso (a warm Welsh welcome) to the Llyn Peninsula, an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty which stretches out about 30 miles into the Irish Sea from the north west of Wales in Great Britain. Llyn retains a unique Welsh charm and character that is still as strong as ever. The peninsula also enjoys a unique micro climate, benefiting from the gulf stream, bringing warmer sea temperatures and weather.
