A superb 2 bedroom apartment, with a double sofa bed in lounge. High quality furnishings throughout. Located in the popular Costa De Prata complex. Costa de Prata is ideally located, being situated within a couple of minutes walk from a small convenience store, the bars and restaurants of the bay, and the beach. The apartment, being on the ground floor is conveniet for the communal swimming pool.The apartment is spacious and tastefully decorated and caters for your every need, with a fully equipped kitchen and built in barbecue. It has a light airy feel to it and is ideal for relaxing in the evening. Sao Martinho has a stunning beach. It is shell shaped with soft white sands, the water is warm, calm, and safe, and there are many water sports available to both adults and children.

Very nice apartment , clean , roomy and with big corner sofa , underground parking space and nice shared pool , 5 - 10 mins walk from town centre and beach , which is great vibrant family friendly town resort with safe waters , which is busy into the late night with plenty of restuarants and bars would thoroughly recommend

We chose to buy in Sao Martinho Do Porto because it is so beautiful with its shell shaped bay and long sandy beach. The local people are very friendly and polite. There is a wonderful atmosphere. It is not very built up and maintains a refined Portuguese charm. The food is excellent and mainly sourced locally. There is an abundant supply of fresh seafood. There are so many benefits to enjoy both in Sao Martinho and its surrounding such as from beautiful beaches, water sports, medieval towns, Buddah Gardens, golf courses, and horse riding. Something for everyone.

A couple of minutes walk to the beautiful beach of Sao Martinho. Long stretch of white sands fronting the bars, cafes, shops and sand dunes. Safe, shallow waters with water sport facilities ideal for children. A popular holiday destination for Portuguese families.


Lisbon airport 50 minutes drive away. Airport pick-up and drop off can be arranged at an additional cost. There are also bus and train services from Lisbon to Sao Martinho Do Porto (details can be forwarded to you).

To enjoy the full beauty of this area of Portugal car hire is advised (prices are reasonable).


20 minutes drive away World Championship surfing facilities at Peniche and Nazare.

The magical gardens of Buddha Eden. The Medieval walled city of Obidos and the historic city of Alcobaca are all within 30 minutes drive.

Further Details:

Last February BBC and ITV repositioned their satellites, and Portugal and Spain lost access to all their programs. There are programmes in English but not BBC or ITV.

Please note no pets or smoking allowed in apartment.

Booking Notes:
Gas, electricity, water included in price. A non refundable 20% deposit is required to secure booking, and a €100 refundable deposit is required in case of damage. It is appreciated that accidents do happen, and glasses, cups and plates can get broken. Please leave us a note so we can renew them for the next guests. Balance to be paid 4 weeks prior to arrival by bank transfer. We will accept cancellations up to four weeks before the holiday but will retain 20% for management costs.

Our apartment is located in a central position close to the beach, shops, restaurants and bars but is still in a quiet area. The apartment is clean and spacious and outside there is a communal swimming pool. We have a wonderful built in barbeque within our balcony and enjoy eating outside most nights.

  • Notes on accommodation: Sao Martinho do Porto is Portugals best kept secret with it's sheltered, shell shaped bay and white sand and sand dunes running its length, The sea in the bay is warm and gentle, which makes it a great favourite for families with small children. A board walk, running through the sand dunes, will take you to the public swimming pool at Salir do Porto on the south side of the bay where the “sand mountain” is a challenge for kids and adults alike. Visit the local market, or relax in one of the many the sea front cafes and enjoy the local food (there are no McDonald, Burger King, Subway etc.). Or simply sit and watch the world go by with a cup of “proper” coffee and sample one of the many variety of cakes that are available. Outside: The large balcony has a built in Barbecue, and table and chairs for outside dining. It overlooks the communal swimming pool which is set in well maintained gardens, and has an ample supply of sun loungers. There is adequate parking, and the pool receives the sun most of the day. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: The apartment is cleaned before and after your stay. Cleaning is inclusive in your cost.
