Meadow Heights Is a generously sized, 3 Bed Townhouse In Great Town Location

Overview

Property

Updated: 19-Jul-2016
House in Newquay, Cornwall, England - Peaceful, Family Friendly Mews; Stone's Throw From Zoo, Park & Swimming Pools, V.close To Beaches

Meadow Heights has a fabulously spacious, comfy, welcoming feel about it. Whether you're looking for somewhere to flake out after an exhilarating day learning to surf, need somewhere to crash out after riding your bikes around the stunning paths and trails in North Cornwall, a comfy sofa on which to nurse your pride after a round of golf at Newquay's challenging links course or just a welcoming patio on which to drink a toast to a full day...this house will cater for all your needs!

This is a fabulous location to bring the kids! Meadow Heights is only 600m away from Waterworld Swimming Pools, Newquay Zoo (you sometimes wake up to the roar of the lions!), Wooden Waves Skateboard Park and very close to the adjoining Trenance Park, Gardens and Boating Lake. It's also in walking distance to all the town's beaches; the closest being Tolcarne in Newquay Bay, with all from the iconic Fistral Beach to to beautiful expanse of Watergate Bay only a walk away.

When you return in the evening, the private off road nature of Meadow Heights gives a quiet environment for children to play outside on bikes or in the enclosed garden at the back. As it offers such a great location to bring your children, a cot and highchair are available upon request.

Only a short drive or bus journey away lie a whole host of attractions; eg. beaches (Crantock Beach 3 miles away, Bedruthan Steps, 6 miles away and too many others to list here!) restaurants (Jamie Oliver's Fifteen is 3 miles away, Rick Stein has many in Padstow, 12 miles away) and children's attractions (Dairyland, 3 miles and Creally, 10 miles) and there is of course Eden, The Camel Trail and the stunning Cornish Countryside. Newquay town centre boasts many fantastic restaurants, pubs, bars, cinema and shops. These are all in easy walking distance or a short taxi ride at night.

Meadow Heights provides the comfortable oasis to return to, so you can unwind and recharge for the full next day.

Amazing property In a fab location!

  • 5 of 5

We arrived at our property and were delighted. The house was immaculately presented and was everything and more that we could of wished for.

The layout worked well for us as a family of 6 with 2 teenage girls, they had their own bathroom which was a bonus and their own bedroom on a different level to the adults allowing us some peace and quiet. The kitchen was equipped with everything you needed. The garden was small but perfectly formed with plenty of outdoor seating.

The location was spot on, a 10 minute stroll to Newquay town centre and 5 minutes to the zoo and swimming pool. All town beaches were easily accessible by foot with other beaches a short drive away.

Barbara was easily contactable by phone or email and communicated with us every step of the way, making it a very easy, stress free holiday.

Would definitely recommend and will certainly stay again.

Location

From the Owner

I have lived here all of my life, so a lot of thought and prior knowledge went into choosing my house! It's in a great location; it's quiet and friendly but really close to Waterworld, The Zoo, Trenance Parks with it's lovely gardens and boating lakes and also close to all the town's beaches. It is close enough to easily walk into town for a night out but far enough away escape the hustle and bustle in high season! There is off road parking for 2 cars (a premium round here in the summer!) and a quiet paradise round the back in my sunny, south facing garden I bought the house in 2011. I love art and interior design , so since then I have decorated throughout and given the garden a big overhaul; yours to enjoy if you choose!

I like to go on holiday in my summer break and, as it's only me who lives here, I thought it a great idea to rent my lovely house to holiday makers during the season. I have travelled a lot around the world and know how great it is to find somewhere comfortable so you can just relax and focus in the holiday!
