Really great house in great location.

Fabulous house, surprisingly spacious, modern and extremely clean. Also very well equipped and with a sunny courtyard garden. As others have previously commented, it was tight turning into the lane but genius husband driver soon got it down to a fine art. Great location in town centre allowed for fresh croissants every morning and walking distance to a variety of great eating places. Highly recommended. Thank you also for the lovely cold bottle of wine waiting for us on arrival. A welcome touch.

A gem of a place

Very spacious for us a family of 4 (2 kids). Clean, decorated to a high standard and is very pleasing to the eye. It is a peaceful place, great to return to at the end of a day on the beach or visiting places of interest. Is very well positioned too with its own parking space. Grocery store is less then 1 minute away and is open from 7am-11pm so you can stock up on milk, bread, fruit and anything else you need. Restaurants and a local gym are also a few minutes walk. Everything works very well and though a small leak came from the shower units the friendly Housekeeper Mike next door will fix this easily. Its a great place. Seagulls in August do make noise at night but we used a night time sea waves sound App from our smart phones to drown it out and slept very peacefully on what admittedly was a more comfortable bed than my own. If you choose this place to stay you will not be disappointed.

Wonderful property.

Property is situated in a great location within easy access to pubs/restaurants for evening meal out. Penzance is an ideal location as a base, lots of great places to visit around the coast. St Ives only 20 mins away! Would definitely stay again when visiting Cornwall.

Perfect For Exploring Cornwall

First the essentials, the house was comfortable, clean, everything worked, everything I needed for the stay was there and Linda was very responsive answering questions and completing the booking process.

Second, location, it is great! The house is tucked away in a quiet little corner just a couple minutes walk from everything. There are several great restaurants, a Co-op grocery, Cornish deli, and shops galore all within two to three hundred yards of the house. I was without a car and relied of public transportation (a space is provided with the house if you have one, a big advantage in Penzance) and there was a bus stop right around the corner and the train station was an easy walk of about 12 - 15 minutes. And the waterfront was only a few minutes walk and I could stroll down the promenade to Newlyn and photograph the fishing fleet.

I hope to return to Cornwall in the next couple of years, this is where I would stay again and would not even bother looking at other locations.

Penzance Town House

Very easy to book up with owners direct and pleasant contact with owner throughout booking. Had a weeks stay in this lovely Town House in May 2015. Had everything we required and house was very clean and tidy .Neighbours very welcoming and helpful. Very centrally located and managed to catch public transport to every place we wanted to visit - ie Lands end, St. Ives, St Michael's Mount, St Austell and Mavagissey. Made friends with the staff in the Admiral Benbow pub down the road and ate there every night - very welcoming and good food. All in all an excellent stay and would definitely stay here again - soon I hope!!!

The house is well positioned to explore the countryside and beaches of the Lands End Peninsular. The Minack theatre is just 20mins away. Newlyn, Mousehole and Marazion are a short drive from the property.


Newquay airport is 33 miles away and Lands End airport (for flights to the Isles of Scilly) is 9 miles away. The house is a 10 minute walk from Penzance railway station.

Further Details:

The house is surrounded by a wealth of boutiques, pubs, restaurants and galleries. Morrab gardens and Penlee Park are peaceful places to walk to with sub-tropical plants. Newlyn Art Gallery is also only a short flat walk away.
