About the Owner

We are a family from Devon who have enjoyed camping and caravan holidays in the South Hams with our extended family for a number of years. 3 years ago we rented a lodge on the Salcombe Retreat for an October half term holiday and fell in love with the place. We were lucky enough to be able to buy our own lodge in 2013 and it has already become for us an invaluable escape from our busy family and working life. We would like to share our home with people who will enjoy the peace and quiet as much as we do and treat it as their own 'home from home'.

Location

From the Owner

We love the peace and quiet of the site within easy access of beaches and the coastal footpath. Great pubs and restaurants nearby. Water sports within easy reach for our boys. Towns of Kingsbridge and Salcombe close enough if needed. Only an hour and 20 minutes from home enabling us to come for a weekend or overnight break. Can join up with family members who camp or caravan at Higher Rew campsite just across the airfield.
