We constructed Squirrels rest in 2014. It stands in woodland tree lined area with many trees and beautiful shrubs. It has easy access to local amenities and is set in a quiet location. The property is within easy reach of local beaches, woodland walk and golf courses. Ideal also for those cycle enthusiast. Should you wish us to arrange bike hire so you may explore the area, then please do email us all requirements so the bikes can be delivered here for your arrival. Should you wish the use of a hot tub, upon request we can see if we can arrange this for you. Allowing for plenty of notification as summer can be a very busy time at we may not be able to obtain one on short notice.

Superb all round

A gorgeous modern well equipped and decorated property that I would highly recommend. We had a fantastic time during August - the property is in a good quiet location with easy access to beaches and inland activities.

The pub (The Pointer) is in the next village approx a mile away and the highlight of the holiday for the kids was walking the bridle path (in the dark) after a lovely meal.

The house itself was clean spacious and well equipped and stocked with crockery etc and facilities (dishwasher, tumble dryer, washing machine etc). The bedrooms are comfortable and linen provided was clean and high quality.

The owner was extremely helpful and responsive.

Only suggested improvements would be more bin space (for a group of 10 we got through the rubbish and bottles!!)

Overall I would highly recommend and would book again when we return.

Lovely week in modern house with large garden

The property is lovely - modern with a large amount of light due to the large windows at the front, and large opening doors at the back. All rooms were good size with plenty of storage for a week.

We hired a hot tub at additional cost which was a nice addition, although the large garden gave the kids plenty of space to play and was very nice for dining outside.

The property itself is in a quiet area, something which took some getting used to but was a nice break from city life. A car is a necessity for shopping etc. and don't rely too much on the sat navs - mine decided to use some strange routes at times, not recognizing the difference between major and single track country roads. Once you have your general bearings all is fine though.

Overall, a fantastic break away which our whole family enjoyed.

Extremely Beautiful House!

Had a lovely New Years Eve break at Squirrels Rest. The house was perfect and there was plenty of room for everyone including the children. The owners had left us a lovely welcome package and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would love to go back in the summer to make use of the garden.

Perfect place to stay on the IOW

A great choice for a family holiday on the Isle of Wight. The house was perfect for 2 families with a large kitchen / dining room, all good sized bedrooms and a big garden. All very new, clean, and well maintained. Couldn't have asked for anything better, would not hesitate to recommend.
