great location, great views and walks.

  • 4 of 5

a real gem set in it's own grounds with fantastic views and great walks literally from outside the front door.

The cottage is very comfortable and benefits from an open fire.

It has comfortable armchairs to relax in the evening and an excellent (new) walk in shower.

The views from all windows are great with mountains, woods and deer.

Lovely cottage with a picturesque view

  • 5 of 5

We had a lovely week in the cottage! We were fall in love with the house immediately. It was lovely, welcoming and well equipped. The surrounding was scenic, quiet and mesmerizing. The owner was very flexible and friendly. It was a pleasure to be in contact with her. The instructions in the house were clear and there were plenty ideas and booklets about the attractions nearby. We had a nice family time there. Thank you!

nice cottage on the top of a hill, in a remote area. With an attentive owner.

  • 5 of 5

We had a lovely time in this remote little house. Our only neighbours were the sheep.

The area is nice and very quiet.

The owner looked after us we'll, when we had a cooker problem. As she lives quite a way away, she made sure we were looked after by someone living locally.

The surrounding views were astounding. We loved the long early summer days, and the very brief showers followed by the sun (which have a dry ground 10 minutes later).

Ein wirklich schöner Urlaub/A realy lpvely holiday

  • 5 of 5

We had two great weeks and use Moalnaceap Cottage as our homebase to explore the highlands from here.

The house itself is solitary and deserted on a mountain slope with a breathtaking view over the Beaulyriver Valley. Otherwise you are surrounded by forests and sheep.

The power supply was new to us, but we quickly found it

Only the electric radiators did not want as we and have been a mysterious for us. But finaly we got the house nice warm. Remember, its an old cottage and not a modern residence.Exactly what we are looking for !

Our stay was so marvelous that we would soon return to the solitude of the Scottish highlands and squat the Moalnaceap Cottage again :-)
