Lovely property close to great walks

We stayed in The Roaches, a lovely spacious and very comfortable property, with a good outside space, particularly for 2 dogs. Kevin and Carolyn were on hand to help and advise and were so welcoming. Plenty of wonderful walks, and places to visit all within a 30 minute drive. The only downside is that the property is very close to a busy road, which took a little getting used to early in the morning, and made a walk down to the local pub a little hairy. Despite this would still recommend this property for its home from home comforts and proximity to a good range of walks and places to visit.

Owner's Response: We thank you Debbie for your thoughts and pleased that you and your family enjoyed your stay in The Roaches cottage. The road noise is apparent at rush hour but goes quiet at night. It is minimised by double glazing and insulation and people like the location for walks and days out. We have always updated and maintained as much as possible and think that The Roaches represents very good value for money.

The nearest ariports are Manchester, East Midland and Birmingham. Car hire is essential

Distances:

1.5 miles to the nearest town, which is Leek, a busy market town.

Further Details:

You will find plenty of shops, supermarkets, banks and restaurants in Leek and also a leisure centre
