This two bedroomed (sleeps 6) first floor apartment is in a truly wonderful location, overlooking Fistral Beach and within 5 minute walk of the renowned Newquay Golf Club. It is one of only seven apartments in an exclusive development that is just four years old. Parking is an allocated space in the apartment forecourt. There is lift access and internally the apartment is wheelchair accessible.

The apartment has super -fast broadband Wi Fi and the recent addition of a Sonos sound system, which allows streaming of a vast amount of music via Spotify etc using your mobile device with the Sonos system.

From the generously sized balcony you will be able to hear the waves crashing against the rocks and see the whole wonderful expanse of sea and beach spread out before you. The sunsets are wonderful! There are bars, restaurants and cafes within a few minutes walk away, including the well-known Headland Hotel, and Lewinnick Lodge, both renowned for location, atmosphere and great food. The lovely old Fern Pit Cafe with live and cooked lobster and crab, overlooks the beautiful Gannel Estuary and the magnificent Crantock Bay and serves fantastic Crab salads. Newquay town centre is 20 minutes walk away, with a good range of shops, pubs and restaurants. The harbour is also close by, with fishing trips and the Newquay seals to be seen. There is a rear patio area with clothes line, and an external shower and surf locker with use of body boards, buckets and spades etc included. Linen and towels included but guests should provide their own beach towels. Mid week clean available at extra cost. Please ask when booking if required.

Apartment has wooden floors ( carpets in bedrooms) and is centrally heated with gas under floor heating. Both bedrooms have TVs installed. All fuel costs included. Highchair and travel cot available. For adults and children alike, there couldn't be a better location for a holiday by the sea.

The accommodation would suit any of the following combinations: Two couples, Two couples with one child each plus baby, One couple with up to four children plus baby.

Prices quoted are based on two adults staying, or two adults and two children. Prices for adult groups quoted on request.The apartment is strictly no smoking and no pets.

There is a refundable £200 damages deposit which is paid in addition to your final payment. This is refunded within a few days of the end of you stay as along as the apartment has not been damaged. Minor breakages are not deemed to be damage to the apartment.

About the Owner

We bought the apartment new five years ago and for the first couple of years only used it ourselves and for family members. For the past three years we have let it for part of the year, but we still love to stay ourselves and are always finding new things to enjoy.

We have left some personal belongings around and hope that these will be useful for you. For example, you will find a selection of DVDs, and paperback books. Please feel free to enjoy them. We have also left some boardgames and children's toys and hope you enjoy these.

We are always pleased to receive suggestions as to how we can improve the facilities, so please let us know what you think.

Fantastic apartmentt , great location!

We had a great week in Newquay- the apartment had amazing views of fistral beach (definitely the wow factor as described) which was a few steps away and most days we would start our day with a walk across fistral beach . The apartment was clean , well equipped and had the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in ! The owner Emer was really helpful and supportive and responded straight away to any questions - such as where was the nearest corner shop to get milk - Emer answered within minutes !

A bottle of sparkly and chocolates with biscuits awaited us along with a greeting card from Emer wishing us a good holiday and included her contact numbers - very thoughtful . For us this welcome would have been even better with a pint of milk for a much needed cuppa after the journey.

We didn't however have to go buying washing up stuff, hand wash, tea coffee sugar because it was all there ! We would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone wanting a stay in Newquay in a modern spacious well equipped , well maintained and clean apartment with great views , easy access to the beach and only a short walk into town - and just to add the DVD player does play blu ray.

Also glad that you found the apartment well equipped and clean. We often go away for a break and cleanliness is very important to us, also a comfy bed- essential! We will definitely take note of your comment about providing milk on arrival. We know that sometimes guests arrive late in the evening after a long journey and being able to make a cup of tea straight away is always good. Fantastic apartment

Very nice modern apartment in a great spot amazing views of the beach within walking distance of nice restaurants . Lift was a bonus as my mother came on our trip and she found this beneficial . Would stay here again 10 out of 10 .

Fantastic apartment

Have just spent a week here with my wife and my elderly parents who appreciated the elevator and the easy access. The apartment is everything it claims to be and its location has to be one of the finest in Newquay with breathtaking views of the beach. Also it is well placed for lots of hiking, quality pubs and restaurants, and generally exploring the surrounding area. Would have no hesitation in recommending this to others and would like to thank Emer for making the booking process stress-free.

Amazing from start to finish!

We had a fantastic experience. Imagine waking up in the morning and opening the living room doors to hear the sounds of the waves.

The flat itself was very clean with all the home comforts. Very close to local amenities and we found a lovely Chinese takeaway that delivered.

We were very sad to leave but will definately be booking again soon.

Beautiful views, super accomadation,top quality fittings and appliances.

Very modern, clean and in a perfect location, all you need and more!

A lot of effort has been put in by the owners from the quality fittings to the comprehensive tourist information.

They have thought of everything to make your stay pleasurable.

Books, DVD's and games for those rainy days(not that we needed them!)

Lovely surroundings and everything you could possibly need including a very warm welcome.

The area is still being developed in parts but this didn't affect us at all and it was good to see buildings were being built or renovated in a way that was in keeping to the area and being carried out discreetly and quietly.

Very peaceful and quiet at night lovely to hear the sea from the balcony of the apartment.

Ideal for a family break as you are 2 minutes away from beautiful beaches. Some very nice places to eat all within walking distance and all highlighted by the owners with directions.

I would most definitely go again and recommend others try for themselves as you won't be disappointed.

Amazing apartment with fantastic views overlooking Fistral beach

My husband 15 yr old son and I had a fantastic week in August staying at 4 Fistral Beach apartment.

The apartment is well equipped and beautifully designed and furnished. It certainly has the wow factor !

It is located overlooking Fistral Beach , and it also has its own parking space which is a bonus.

On arrival we had a lovely welcome pack from Emer the owner, and she made sure all was ok leaving her contact number.

It was lovely to sit on the balcony watching the surfers, and taking in the amazing view of Fistral Beach.

The apartment was in a good location, about a 20min walk into Newquay, but there are plenty of places to eat and have a drink nearby - Bohdi's - Lewinnick Lodge - The Stable - Fistral Beach Bar - just to name a few.

There are plenty of opportunities to take some surf lessons on the beach.

Padstow is about half an hours drive and well worth a visit. The apartment has plenty of information on places to visit - days out - restaurants etc .

We would highly recommend this apartment, so much so we will probably return next year.

Location

From the Owner

We love the rugged coastline, and the huge waves that make Fistral such a good surfing beach. We like the quietness of this end of Newquay (Pentire) but also love being so near the town centre. We love cooking the wonderful fresh lobster and crabs that we are able to buy from the local seafood suppliers. We enjoy the apartment at all times of the year- the winter months are blustery and the wind is wild and so fresh. We love walking either along the cliff tops or across the many beautiful beaches from Crantock to Watergate Bay. A particular bonus is being able to hear and see the waves whilst being inside and cozy during the winter months. We are keen body boarders ( haven't mastered the surfboard) and with our winter weight wetsuits are in the sea all year round.

Coast/Beach:

Beach is directly outside apartment, with steps down about 80 metres from front door. There is a great cafe ( Bodhi's) at top of steps- coffees, Sunday roasts, fresh sea-food. The Headland Hotel is a 5 minute walk across the beach. If you are feeling more energetic, when the tide is out you can walk along the beach to the many beautiful bays including Lusty Glaze and Tolcarne.

Fistral Beach is a wide expanse of yellow sand, with marvellous waves that draw surfers from all over the world.

Newquay Airport 5 miles.

Newquay train station 1.5 miles.

Bus station 15 minute walk.

Train station - Bodmin 15 miles.

A30 duel carriageway 6 miles from apartment.

This apartment is unusual in being so close to the sea- you can hear the sounds of the waves as you fall asleep and as you wake up. The light in the apartment is wonderful- with nothing between us and the waves and the horizon. We love being able to walk outside and immediately be on the South West Coastal path, or on the beach. The rock pools just across from the apartment are great for kids to splash about in, and we go mussell- picking and cook them with cream, wine and garlic- delicious. We cook a lot, so the kitchen is very well stocked with all the equipment you will need to make delicious meals. We leave basic condiments for guests to use- whatever is there you are welcome to!
