The Coach House is a converted single storey barn located on a working farm overlooking Hayle and St.Ives.

It has one bedroom and sleeps two - one King size double. Spacious open plan living/dining area with fully fitted kitchen. This includes a washing machine, dishwasher, fridge, microwave, hob and oven. In the living area there is a TV and DVD player. A selection of books, DVDs and games. Free WI-FI.

Very beautiful cottage

A very beautiful, well-maintained and clean property. Very remote and quiet but not far away from the town centre, shops and the coast. Good place to stay for exploring Cornwall. We really can recommend this property.

Nice week

Spent a week here nice place on very quiet farm all clean and tidy a pretty comfy,would have been 5 stars but just a few niggles that can be sore ted to in my opinion bring it up to 5

Firstly equipment ie cutlery and cooking utensils are of very poor quality secondly the bed sheet was very bobbly and there were no batteries in the dvd remote and very poor picture on tv that's about it ,the wifi is very good chairs and bed were comfy and the welcome cream tea was a nice touch so overall pretty good.

We are sorry you felt the cooking equipment were not up to scratch, the china etc. are from next and the saucepans are from Marks & Spencers. As for the batteries, it is a pity you did not bring this to our attention sooner as we could of replaced them as somebody has obviously removed them. Excellent stay at the coach house

Me and my wife and our 4 month old stayed in the Coach House for 5 nights and we really enjoyed it. The property itself is really modern and comfortable. We thought it might be a bit on the small size for 2 adults plus a small child but when we arrived we were pleasantly surprised at how spacious it was. David gave us a warm welcome and gave us a tour and he is always at hand if your require any assistance which was good to know. It is a fantastic base to explore Cornwall from and is a quite relaxing place. From this location we traveled to Newquay, Minack theatre, Senne Cove, Lands End etc all of which is around 30 - 40 mins drive if you want more than just the local beaches. Special thanks to Marjorie Davids Mum who was really nice. Will be back in the future if available again. Thanks Dee & Sonia

Excellent stay in the Coach House

When we booked the Coach House at Trewoone Farm, we didn’t realise that we had stayed there before and were delighted to find that these converted barns had been only completed in 2014 and we were only the second couple to stay in the Coach House.

We were welcomed by the owner and Sparky the dog and made to feel at home from the start.

The conversion of the Coach House is first class and we were shown around the other larger cottages which are again really good and would be great for larger groups. The recommendation is for this two person unit hence only ticking the 55+ and romantic getaway, but the other units would tick all of the boxes.

It is really enjoyable staying on this working arable farm, the peace and quiet of the countryside and being up on the hill there are outstanding views across the bay to St Ives, but a short car ride to the beaches and the towns if you want them. We went surfing many times at the magnificent Gwithian Beach. The sun shone every day we were there and it was really hoy, but we would have enjoyed it just as much at any time of the year.

There is also good Vodaphone network coverage for the mobile phone and the free wifi is really fast.

We look forward to staying there again.

Fabulous week away

My wife and I stayed in the Coach House for a week and we absolutely loved it. It is beautifully renovated and close to some great beaches. We especially liked the cream teas on arrival. It is a fantastic base to explore West Cornwall. I have no doubt we will be back to Trewoone Farm sometime in the near future. It was the perfect escape. Thank you very much David and Marilyn. Coast/Beach:

Hayle Towans, Hayle is located 2 miles from the property. Porthkidney beach in Lelant is 2.1 miles and Gwithian Towans beach is 2.4 miles.

There are many other beaches on both coasts less than half an hours driving time.

Travel:

The nearest airport is located at Newquay, which is 33 miles away. Collection could be arranged at an additional charge. Local train station at Hayle located approximately 1.5 miles away. Collection could be arranged. Use of a car is recommended to fully take advantage of the location, in order to explore the area fully. Although guests can use the farm as a base for cycling or walking.

Distances:

Distance to the sea is less than 3 miles, distance to pubs/restaurants is less than 3 miles. Paradise park is 1.1 miles. A range of shops less than 2 miles.

Further Details:

Marks and Spencer, Next, Boots and Costa are located at the Eastern approach to Hayle. Within Hayle itself there are several small boutiques, surf shops, ice cream parlours, bakers, butchers, several pasty shops a Co-op, Lidl supermarket and a sports shop. There are a wide range of restaurants/take-aways within Hayle.

Barclays bank, Lloyds Bank and a Santander agency are all found in Hayle. Local doctors and pharmacy are less than 2 miles from the property
