House in Buzan, Ariege, Midi-Pyrenees, France - Quiet Location On the Edge of a Picturesque Village. Ideal Starting Point for Many Walks

Beautifully converted historic house, ideally suited to walking or relaxing holidays. It has 4 double bedrooms and an open plan living area with efficient log burner. The first floor Terrace has wonderful views of the Pyrenean Chain. 20 yards from the house there is a private enclosed garden with a large deck and summer house. The deck has views of Mont Valier and the Pic de Calabasse. The large Sauna and wet room makes it ideal for early and late walking holidays. We are 40 minutes from the nearest ski resort.

About Nick Davidson

Fran and I bought our first French Property , Le Moulin de la Materette in December 1999. At the Moulin we run courses in Painting and Wood-turning, as well as rent out the Moulin and Grange for large extended family gatherings. We can accommodate 23 guests in the Moulin and Grange.

We bought Maison St Brigitte in 2006, but have only recently completed the renovations to make it an ideal mountain retreat for walking holidays. We continue to live in and love the Ariege, an area of outstanding beauty. So much so that two of our children have settled and live in this area closeby.

Our daughter, Sarah, has spent 10 years renovating Leela, her romantic getaway in the peaceful hamlet of Laborie.

Outside: Terrace with seating for 8 round a dining table, with splendid views of the Pyrenees. There is a BBQ on the Terrace. The private enclosed garden is 20 metres from the house has a large deck with table and seating for 6. A summer house for storing loungers etc. Wonderful views of open countryside and mountains from the deck Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen are provided and changed weekly.
