South West facing luxury architect designed, family owned, villa in elevated position overlooking the Mediterranean Sea and beautiful La Cala De Mijas Bay. The property is within walking distance to the beach, shops, restaurants and bars and is situated approximately 5 minutes drive to La Cala de Mijas, 30 minutes drive South of Malaga Airport, 30 minutes to Puerto Banus (approx). The villa and annex is spacious (sleeps 10), fully air conditioned, with satellite television and has lots of inside and outside entertaining space including patio sets, sun loungers, gazebo and top of the range hot tub.. The main house has marble floors to principle living areas. The villa is very private being largely surrounded by high perimeter walls and has its own private pool (which can be lit at night) off the main terrace and a similarly private garden adjacent to the annex. The villa also has a private sauna and newly purchased top of the range hot tub for holiday makers looking for the ultimate in relaxation as part of their holiday experience during the Winter months of October to May when main swimming pool is cooler.The villa is fully equipped with unlimited Wi Fi access 24 hrs a day.The villa is within easy walking distance to Elliott Wright's new Olivia's Restaurant in beautiful La Cala (Watch how the stars like to party!)

Fabulous family holiday in the most amazing villa

As the previous reviewer states, the pictures don't do this little piece of heaven justice! We have just spent a fantastic week in this villa. There were nine of us ages ranging from 3 to 60. Each and every one of us had a ball. We hardly left the property as it was just perfect. The weather was hitting 40C most days which meant that we rarely left the pool - night or day! The pool was immaculate and a perfect temperature . We made great use of the barbecue and the hot tub where we had fantastic views from the balcony.

The villa was spotless, rooms spacious, every possible mod con available. This property is huge and my granddaughter loved lying on the sofas in the cool lounge watching "her programmes" when the heat got to much for her.

The annex was perfect for my daughter, son in law and the children. It gave them their own space and is beautifully appointed.

The villa is in a lovely, quiet residential area only 40 minutes from Malaga airport. Having young children with us, security and safety is of paramount importance to us. The security gates allowed us to relax in the knowledge that the children could play and explore the garden in safety.

Chris and Denny were always available, their generosity was superb and they provided very helpful information, quickly resolving any minor issues. This truly was a home from home.

The children loved all the inflatables and toys that Chris and Denny kindly provided. The many and varied seating areas were fabulous and provided the opportunity for space and peace and quiet even when in a large company.

It's a short downhill walk to the town, shops and beach however, I would recommend a taxi back, depending on the heat and especially if carrying shopping.

The beautiful village of Mijas Pueblo is only a 20 minute drive away, where we had dinner in The Secret Garden. which is highly recommended as is El Oceano restaurant in Mijas Costa

As well seasoned independent travellers this villa and holiday ranks with the best and we are already planning our next visit.

Our local village La Cala has some wonderful restaurants to suit all tastes and yet still manages to maintain a village feel about it.

Not quite 5 star!

We found this villa to be just what we needed, and a party of 10 doesn't have too much choice!

The owner was efficient and easy to deal with, and dealt with all our enquiries, and a problem we had with the air condtioning in one of the rooms, very well indeed.

Facilties were just as described, the directions to find it and how to enter were fine. There's almost everything you could wish for (including sunshine),and for the most part the villa was clean and tidy on arrival though we did have to clean out the main fridge before we could use it!

Be aware though it is at the top of two quite long and very steep hills.

Our only other points are that there was almost nothing in the way of instructions on the appliances, and nothing at all about the area, where to go and what to see. I realise that today most of this can come from the internet (the connection was fast and efficient) but some hard copy and guidance would have been welcome.

I also found the locking of the steel gates(placed over the access doors) each time we left, both a nuisance and their very precence intimadatiing. Time for a re-think on this I think.

Overall though very good, and, if you can fill it, good value for money. We can also recommend the Ole Restuarant at the bottom of the hill!

Perfect family holiday

We have just returned from a 10 day holiday at this villa, it was amazing. Everything you can ask for, everything at your finger tips in a very comfortable homely environment. Breath taking views from the Villa and poolside of the bay of La Cala, which were totally amazing. This was a very relaxing holiday, chilling by the pool and garden area during the day time and lovely walks to the centre of La Cala which was a short walk away. Great bars and resturants, for evening meals and drinks, and all very friendly. Very close to all amenities, 10 mins walk to supermarket, shops, bars, beach etc and if you didn't want to walk the hill a taxi is only 5 euros. This was our first Villa holiday as we have always gone to hotels, but this have definitely spoilt us and we will be returning in the near future. Thank you Chris and Denny for allowing us to use your holiday home.

Absolutely stunning

Absolutely love this villa, it has every home comfort you could wish for and more. pool area is my idea of heaven with Fabulous views of the med sea. La cala has some lovely restraunts which are a ten minute walk down a steep hill. Bit of a struggle to walk back up the hill for someone as extremely lazy as me, but a taxi ride is a well worth 5 euro. Can't fault the place.

Great Holiday

We have just returned from a lovely holiday at this villa. The pictures do not do the view or the villa justice.

Christine and Denny were great to deal with and Denny even met us at the villa to show us around.

All rooms are nice and clean with good bedding and of course air-con. The villa is well equipped with everything you could need.

Its only a short walk from supermarket and shops / resturants. It is on a hill so a bit harder to walk back but we found it good to burn off all the food we ate at night.

La Cala has loads of good restaurants and a nice beach and all within a 10min walk. Supermarket is only 5 mins walk.

Overall the villa is great for kids and all the family but anyone with bad legs may struggle a bit unless you have a car.

Would love to visit again as the kids miss the pool.

Have been to a few villas over the years and this has to be top of the list for the price.

This is the Third property we have owned in the area around La Cala and I am certain it will be our last because we have finally bought our ideal villa in an ideal location and we feel it couldn't be bettered. Unlike other coastal villages on the Costa, La Cala De Mijas is a former fishing village. Development over the years has been well planned and functional making the most of La Calas character and charm. The village has a wealth of amenities and it is quite possible to stay within the locality and not be bored or need to venture too far - although you can if you want to.

La Cala de Mijas Beach is very near approx 5 minutes drive and 15-20 minutes walk (approx.)


Malaga Airport is approximately 30 minutes drive North. Car hire is not essential for the property although is recommended for anyone with mobility issues due to elevated position of property. There is a very good bus network which can be accessed from the local village.


La Cala de Mijas is the nearest Village This is within walking distance (less than 20 minutes) and only 5 minutes drive away.

Fuengirola is only 10 minutes drive away (also on bus route from La Cala de Mijas) , Mijas and Puerto Banus are approx 30 minutes drive away and Marbella approx 40 minutes (also on bus route).

Further Details:

La Cala de Mijas has a multitude of restaurants including international ones, bars (including beach bars), grocery stores, hairdressers, fuel station, chemists, banks and a childrens play parks. It has a wonderful sandy beach
