Newly redecorated for 2016. Suitable for two adults, set in the heart of the Kent countryside and overlooked by pear orchards. This well appointed apartment is in a village location close to bus routes and local railway station. Maidstone Town Centre is 3 miles away, Leeds Castle 9 miles away and 2 miles from M2/M20 motorway connection. Local village Inns serving traditional Pub fare, are within easy walking distance. The property comprises living room/kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. There is central heating, free Wi-Fi, TV with Free view and integral DVD player. All linen, towels provided together with complimentary toiletries. Tea and coffee also provided. King size double bed. This is a smoke and pet free environment, non-smokers only welcome.

We are a semi-retired professional couple, 45 years married, with two children and four grand-children, who visit us often! We enjoy our garden and small vegetable plots.

Why Anita Beal chose East Farleigh

We quite literally moved in with the hurricane of October 1987. Our re-location to Kent was forced thru business and we have never regretted the move. We have enjoyed the rural location whilst being close to all amenities .

What makes this apartment unique

We live a peaceful existence in the heart of the Kent countryside with wide ranging views across the Teston valley, and often enjoy the company of passing horse riders, dog walkers and the like. Lots of footpaths are close by to explore the area in more detail, and a local hostelry is 20 minutes walk thru the fields, lovely on a summer evening. 2015 winners, Best in Village Front Garden, Area 3.

Outside: To the rear, a small patio area overlooked by pear orchards in a south facing garden has a wooden table and two chair combination set. Sun parasol available. Small pond with fountain. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All towels and linen included. Property cleaned, together with fresh towels and linen on changeover or once a week. Other: Smoke alarm fitted in small hall between bedroom and bathroom.

Simply stunning

This accomodation is all that one could want. Really helpful but not intrusive proprietors. Clean, spacious, amazingly equipped, warm and comfortable. Peaceful and picturesque location.

Well appointed apartment

Very well kept with everything you could wish for. Very clean and well presented. The apartment is in a quiet and peaceful location but not far from Maidstone. The owners, Anita and Roy, were exceptionally helpful and welcoming and we would have no hesitation in recommending this accommodation to anyone as it is a true 'home from home'.

We also had a delicious meal at The Horseshoe pub in the village well as visiting various N T properties in the area.

Very quiet, very clean, lovely countryside. A very relaxing stay. We enjoyed dinners at the The Bull, Spice Lounge and especially The Horseshoes.

Perfectly presented with everything we needed. Our host was very welcoming and helpful.

Lovely apartment with easy parking. Everything immaculate and well maintained.

Only disappointment was the width of the beds. We requested 2 single beds instead of the double and they were very narrow.

Comfortable and cosy

The owners have considered all that guests could possibly need. The apartment is clean and compact. We particularly liked the shower. The owners are very friendly but non intrusive. It was good to know that they were on site but we didn't need to call on them because everything was very straightforward.

Travel:

Two miles to the M20/M2, 30 miles to Channel Tunnel and 40 miles Dover. London 30 miles, easy access by local train station (1/4 mile). Own transport recommended.

Distances:

Situated in the Ancient village of East Farleigh, which is located 3 miles outside of Maidstone (County Town of Kent), giving the opportunity to explore the Kent countryside. Easy access to local footpaths - maps available. Nearby places of interest include Leeds Castle, Tunbridge Wells and the historic cities of Canterbury and Rochester.

Further Details:

Local public houses within walking distance (15mins) for lunch/evening meal. Bus stops (for travel to Maidstone and onwards) and railway station 1/4 mile (for travel to London or Tonbridge, Redhill, Croydon and Gatwick airport).
