Villa with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms close to town and beaches. Located on landscaped domain with swimming pool.

The villa is situated on the Semaphore hill in the town of Sainte Maxime. It  has beautiful views of the hillsides and the golf course to the north and west of the town. The villa has 3 bedrooms and can sleep up to 6 people (and a baby).  

The villa is situated in a beautiful landscaped private domain which has its own tennis courts, swimming pool and boules pitch, all of which have free use for renters of the villa. The villa has private parking for use of guests.

Although it feels as if it is located in the French countryside, the villa is just a few minutes away from the town centre of Sainte Maxime which has a wide range of shops, banks, bars and restaurants.  It also has a sandy beach right in the town centre and other beautiful beaches both to the east and west of the town.

The villa has everything you need to have a fantastic holiday in the South of France. The domain has 5 tennis courts, a swimming pool and a boules pitch for the free use of the guests staying in the villa. There is plenty of free parking on the domain car parks and there is a private parking space alongside the villa. There is a comfortable lounge with a television, DVD and video.  The television can receive French TNT channels and freesat UK channels. The villa has a fitted kitchen with a cooker and hob, micro-wave oven, fridge and freezer and a dish-washer and a washing machine. The user manuals for all the appliances are provided. There are terraces at the front, side and rear of the house so that throughout the day you can choose to be in the sun or in the shade. The garden and terraces have sun loungers and chairs provided. The rear terrace overlooks a garden with views over the hillsides. The domain pool is just a few steps away from the garden gate of the villa as are the tennis courts and boules pitch.

The beautiful seaside town of Sainte Maxime in the South of France is a wonderful place to spend a holiday at any time of the year.

It is approximately one hour drive away from the airports at Nice and Toulon and is about a two hour drive from the airports at Nimes and Marseilles. It has good transport links with the rest of France and the Cote d’Azure.

There are local ferries which can take you across the bay to the world famous town of St. Tropez and there are many other interesting towns and places to see in the region.

Sainte Maxime is a charming sea-side town with typical provencale style streets and buildings. There are sandy beaches where you can swim from and lots of bars and restaurants and shady pavements and squares in the town. You can take part in all sorts of nautical activities, you can play golf on the beautiful nearby courses, or you can sit in a bar with a glass of wine and watch the world go by.

There are many fascinating places to visit in the area both by boat and by car. There are perched hilltop villages, the spectacular river gorges of the Verdon, beautiful islands and coastal footpaths, vineyards and much more. This area of France has a wonderful climate with an average 300 days of sunshine each year.

However we enjoyed the sunshine and lack of rain so much in the south of France that when we retired we decided to buy a holiday home there.

The house we found had many of the characteristics we were looking for: quiet location, near to a busy holiday town, nice gardens and close to beaches and places of interest.

It is situated on a hill about 1 km from the town centre of Ste.Maxime. It is set in quiet surroundings on a landscaped domain with a swimming pool and tennis courts.

If you enjoy swimming, cycling, walking. kayaking, exploring French towns, dining out - then this is a great place to be.

Notes on accommodation: The villa is situated on a quiet and peaceful domain on the Semaphore hill close to the town centre of Sainte Maxime.  It has 3 double bedrooms, two bathrooms, a lounge/dining room and a mezzanine room. The domain has 5 tennis courts, a swimming pool and a boules pitch for the free use of the guests staying in the villa. Outside: The villa is surrounded by beautiful gardens. The domain has a large shared swimming pool, a small children's pool and 5 tennis courts and a boules pitch. All the facilities are free for the use of renters. Utility Room: The utility room is fitted with kitchen cupboards for storage and has a double sink with hot and cold water supplies. It is fitted with a washing machine and a second fridge and also a freezer. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: The supply of bath towels (not beach towels) and bed linen is provided in the rental fee. The cleaning of the villa when guests have left is also provided in the rental fee. Other: The villa has a mezzanine floor which has a coffee-table and 2 seater sofa and a dresser/wall unit for storage. There is wireless internet access throughout the villa.

A great holiday property.

This is a lovely property, very well equipped lovely to have a washing machine and dishwasher. However the highlight of the property is the pool, a really good size and beautifully maintained. The view from the patio is amazing a truly relaxing holiday.

our holiday

We stayed at this lovely house for our summer holiday. We bought four 20 year olds. Firstly the house was absolutely lovely, wonderful views with a north facing terrace which kept cool but had sides on it that allowed for all day sun bathing. Local communal pool and tennnis courts which kept our 'youth' very happy. We were just sorry that we could not use the pool in the garden for lazing around.

Wonderfully located to St Maxime town, although I would strongly recommend a car as the house is on top of a hill.

Owners very friendly and helpful and kindly left some food in the fridge for us, along with letting us stay longer than our moving out time as no one was arriving immediately.

All in all a lovely place to stay.

The villa is available from 3:00 pm on the day of arrival and it must be vacated by 10:00 am on the day of departure.
Pillows, blankets, bed covers and bed linen are provided in the rental fee. Bath towels (but not beach towels) are also provided in the rental fee.
A 30% booking fee is required and the balance of rental fee to be paid 8 weeks before start of holiday.

Refundable deposit for keys and damages of £200 is required.
