Ostlers Cottage has been completely refurbished to a high standard, including 2 new ensuite shower rooms for 2014. The emphasis is on quality and comfort which is reflected in the decor, furnishings and facilities throughout this lovely cottage. Original exposed beams, oak flooring and an Aga wood burner in the sitting room all provide the character iuand atmosphere you would expect from a cottage in the Cotswolds. Efficient electric radiators and heated towel rails keep the cottage warm and cosy even if the woodburner is not lit. Bed linen, towels, kindling and logs are provided, as is a barbecue for when the weather is kind. The courtyard garden is secluded and sheltered providing a lovely place to sit and relax at any time of day. Well behaved dogs are welcome (max 2 at a time) and storage for bicycles is available upon request. Dedicated off road parking for 2 cars is included within Greyrick Court just outside the cottage.

An excellent place to stay
About the Owner
Keith and Jacquie have lived in Mickleton for over 23 years where they farm 140 acre organically. They have owned rental property for a number of years and prefer to manage the properties themselves so that they can be sure that their guests are receiving the very best service. As they live only a mile from Ostlers Cottage they are nearly always at hand if there are any queries or help is needed with anything. An added service offered with this cottage is B&B for your horse or horses. Keith and Jacquie run a small livery yard at their farm and are able to offer stabling and turn out for guests' horses from April to November.
A welcome tray including homemade cake will be awaiting you, fresh flowers throughout the cottage and in the winter the wood burner will be laid ready to be lit.

An excellent place to stay
Been to Cotswolds on many occasions and stayed in many different holiday lets. This certainly in the top two. Beautifully clean and well kept. Had everything we needed. Well positioned for 2 village pubs, hotel and shops in a lovely friendly village. In close proximity to Stratford-Upon-Avon and other places of interests. Will certainly use the accommodation again
The cottage was lovely, the cakes on arrival were gorgeous and very welcome. It was well equipped and had everything we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back.

We had a wonderful long weekend in Ostlers Cottage. The cottage itself is delightful and charming and is located in a lovely quiet village. The rooms and furnishings are warm and inviting and we particularly enjoyed the log fire. The kitchen has everything you need. We loved our stay and we hope to return one day. Lara & family
Excellent, can highly recommend
Had a week's stay here in February with family. It is a lovely cottage, very clean, equipped with everything you may need, set in a quiet location in a pretty village and within a very short walk of two nice pubs. There are two allocated parking spaces. All the equipment is good quality, the beds are very comfortable and both bedrooms have excellent ensuite facilities with lovely fluffy towels. The finishing touches were particularly appreciated including delicious home made cakes and fresh flowers. Cannot find fault with this cottage at all and would highly recommend it. A home from home. Hope to return one day.

“The Cotswolds and Shakespeare Country meet at the village of Mickleton, immediately beneath the Cotswold escarpment and overlooked by the infamous Meon Hill. It is therefore perfectly situated, with Chipping Campden only 3 miles away to the south and Stratford upon Avon only 10 miles to the north. Mickleton is the most northerly of the Cotswold villages containing a mixture of attractive Cotswold stone houses and cottages, thatch and half-timber buildings, and the Norman St Lawrence’s Church, dating from the 12th century. The village is home to "The Pudding Club" at the Three Ways House Hotel (featured in many TV shows). Membership is not required so it is easy to sample their wonderful desserts only a few steps from the cottage.”

Mickleton is very well serviced with 2 pubs, a hotel, a mini-supermarket (with cash machine), butcher, post office and numerous farm shops in the local area. Chipping Campden and Broadway both have an interesting range of food, wine, antique and gift shops, plus banks and cash machines.
The wonderful countryside provides opportunities for walking, cycling and riding and there are plenty of attractions close by including Adam's Farm (Guiting Power Farm Park).

“As well as the hotel Mickleton has 2 pubs (The Kings Arms and The Butchers Arms), a well-stocked village shop (mini supermarket) plus a post office, a butcher and several farm shops for fresh local vegetables and other produce, including local artisan bread. There are plenty of walks in the area, including a picturesque 30 minute up-hill walk via a footpath from the village church to Kiftsgate Gardens, with the National Trusts’ world renowned Hidcote Manor Gardens a couple of hundred yards beyond. If you enjoy cycling there is a traffic free cycle path to Stratford–upon-Avon via 'The Greenway' and numerous quiet lanes to explore. With Stratford upon Avon so close, why not enjoy an evening at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre?”

- Outside: Quiet and secluded, southwest facing, pretty courtyard garden with garden furniture, potted herbs (for guests' use), planted borders and mature shrubs. A barbecue and charcoal are provided. Utility Room: Basin, wc, mirror, shaver point, washing machine, iron and board, laundry bag, hanging space for coats. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels, bath mats, tea towels and all bed linen is provided. For stays of more than one week the bed linen and towels can be changed each week by arrangement. The cottage is fully cleaned and serviced between lettings.
