The Crispin is a particularly comfortable yet spacious self catering holiday home set in a large garden which sleeps 8 in Rock.

Excellent for a Mini or Weekly stays in Rock Cornwall to take in the stunning scenery, walk the dog on the beautiful sandy beaches of the Camel Estuary, enjoy eating out at some of the infamous or not so infamous restaurants, play golf at St Enodoc, go to the spa... There's plenty to do and see!

Linen and Towels are provided with beds made up for guests arrival.

A small welcome pack including delicious freshly baked cake is provided.

The house is in a quiet location close to St Enodoc Golf Club and is within walking distance of the shops, sandy beaches and restaurants. 1 well behaved dog with prior agreement.

Located just a few minutes walk from the local shops and amenities. It is also only about a 10/15 minute walk down to the water front at Rock where you will find a good selection of water sports, including fishing trips on the Camel Estuary. From here the ferry or water taxi can be taken to Padstow on the other side of the estuary where you can visit one of Rick Steins infamous restaurants, Prideux Place or the Lobster Hatchery and a host of other shops. The famous surfing beach of Polzeath is approximately 2 miles away.

Thank you so much for letting us in early and for the delicious apple pie cake that awaited us. The Crispin is looking super and it is a real privilege to be here. As I write we are still sitting in the garden with dog and newspapers and having a lovely time and already feeling "on holiday".

Good spacious family house close to central Rock

The Crispin is an ideal rental for three generations of a family to enjoy one of the most beautiful areas of Cornwall. It's a lovely big house, clean and well-equipped, with three bedrooms upstairs and a fourth downstairs with an adjoining shower room. The garden is lovely and private, with plenty of parking space in the front. It's about 15 minutes walk to the beach, and you can also stroll across the golf course to beautiful Daymer Bay. Polzeath, with its fantastic surfing beach, is just a few minutes in the car and Padstow is across the estuary on a short ferry ride.

Plenty of local shops if you want to cook or barbecue or excellent pubs and restaurants to eat out.

Comfortable clean spacious house

Enjoyed our stay at Chrispin. House had everything we needed, good bathroom and shower room comfortable beds.

The Beach was a mile down the road. Good fish and chips half a mile the other way

Delightful walk from the house through the golf course to St Enodoc church and Brea Hill and back through the dunes.

Rock is quiet compared to Padstow but a pleasant place to spend on holiday

Spacious house in a great location.

The property is well maintained and spacious, though expensive but that can be explained by being in a popular and affluent village/town in Cornwall.

A major plus is that the property allows a dog.

Fantastic location for runs & walks (with the dog and the family respectively)! Down through the golf course to the beach and along the coast either way.

We planned to go surfing in Polzeath and drove there in great anticipation and were bitterly disappointed. A tiny bay, hugely overcrowded and subsequently when I looked at an surf location review website Polzeath was dealt with very scathingly.

We literally crawled through the village, out the other side and continued to an old family favourite from previous holidays at Widemouth Bay - about 45 minutes if traffic is light.

Fantastic butcher and baker a short walk away plus a Spar. A 20 minute drive meanwhile to nearest Tesco to do a big shop.

For a great meal out for a special occasion go to Nathan Outlaw's restaurant at St. Enodoc hotel. Don't waste your money on the various Rick Stein offerings in Padstow when this is but a short walk away.

Nice little pub down at the bottom of the hill meanwhile selling local beers.

I would thoroughly recommend the place to anyone looking for a family getaway.

lovely stay

The Crispin is a lovely, quiet and very comfortable house and we had a super week's holiday there. We particularly enjoyed the tranquil garden and it is an ideal place to bring a dog to. The house is very clean and well maintained and equipped with everything you could possibly want. I would highly recommend it.

The Crispin Rock rocks

We really enjoyed our stay at the Crispin. The cottage was spacious had a well equipped kitchen and felt really homely. We had a nice relaxing stay there and we would definitely return to the Crispin :)

Outside: Pretty garden with a slate terrace which is a real sun trap. On the terrace is a large teak table which comfortably seats 8. There is a charcoal BBQ Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bed linen is provided and the beds will be made up for your arrival.
