This 5 bedroom property suitable for up to 10 persons can be rented as whole or divided into a 4 bedroom house and a 1 bedroom apartment with its own entrance, kitchen, dining room and outside covered terrace. Suitable for friends that like to go on holidays together but like to keep their own space. You must like dogs, we have 3 kids-loving dogs patrolling the property. Beach access to the white-sandy-beach on either side of the property. Property suitable for children. Buggyboards and children toys, boardgames, kids pool,.. available.

A welcome as warm as Barbados!

Isabel and her family could not have been more welcoming! The villa is very clean and comfortable with stunning beaches on either hand.

A short walk up the beach to the Surfers Bar for some of Andy's amazing breakfast pancakes or a trip to Chicken Rita's for fried chicken and rum! It's a side of Barbados you won't see unless you meet someone like Isabel, I long to go back!

Loving the Sea in Silver Sands .

The cottage was very clean and only a few steps from the waves. The bed was comfortable and the living room quite nice but we sat outside most of the time.When we arrived the fridge was well stocked with drinks and breakfast goodies. It was nice being near our hosts home . The entire experience was delightful. We say GO !!!!! Beverly Gerber

Barbados is a beautiful place. The three major reason why be bought in Barbados : Water supply - the other caribbean island are volcanic Barbados is pure coral stone- rainwater is filtered naturally through the limestones - we got our tap water tested in 2011 in Europe, got an excellent rating Medical emergency- best Doctors and facilities available, other islands have to fly emergency patients to Barbados. On our first arrival in Barbados in 1985 we were overwhelmed how friendly locals were to us- low crime rate compared to other islands.

There nearest ATM machine is in the next village Oistins reachable per bus that accept most Credit Cards and major Debit Cards/Maestro. There are two Convenience Stores just within walking distance away and one large Supermarket in the next Village Oistins, easily reachable per Bus. There are numerous malls and clothing shops all round the Island and the big International Stores in Bridgetown 45min driving away.

The property is a unique location - on a half island in the sea, you can hear the waves and at full moon on a clear night the sand shines silver- magical - therefore the name Silver Sands. The House is over 50 years old, its NOT a 5*star property its a clean, comfortable (mattresses & pillows newish, fully equipped "Beachhouse" Due to the extreme salty breeze, electrical equipment, stove and fridges dishwasher only survive max 2 years- constant fight with rust spots, and salty windows, but your lungs will love that salty breeze. The owner lives in the property behind, easy to contact, any problems, queries, requests - anything can be organized to make you feel as home as possible. Thank you
