The town of North Walsham with all amenities and friendly pubs and restaurants is under a mile away. The coast and its beautiful sandy beaches are just over 4 miles away.

Great Cottage, Great Location and Great Host

The cottage was very much a home from home, with evrything one would wish for and more. The rooms with the exception of the kitchen were quite large, the en suite bathroom had only just been totally refurbished to a high standard. There is an additional shower and closet downstairs.

My wife unfortunately had to be rushed into the Norfolk and Norwich hospital with a suspected heart attack just two days into our holiday at the cottage, however, Denise was very concerned and caring and even bought my wife a very nice plant, which now has pride of place in our verandah.

We would certainly like to have a return visit in the not too distant future. We would certainly recommend this property, so does our Yorkshire Terrier LULU, who had a great time, running around in the quite large garden with loads of nearby walking area's, in particular Bacton Woods.just a short walk away from Thursday cottage.

Lovely and relaxing stay.

A very comfortable property and a great base for exploring this part of Norfolk. Friendly and welcoming owners living next door. We have stayed many times and will return. Recommend visits to Sheringham and Cromer for the seaside.

lovely cottage in rural north norfolk

The cottage was lovely - situated on the outskirts of North Walsham in a lovely rural setting.There is a large driveway for parking and easy access to the building.

Downstairs there is a well equipped kitchen and lounge dining room- very comfortable. There is a tv/dvd/video in the lounge area. Also on the ground floor is a well equipped shower room.

Upstairs there are 2 large bedrooms - a double and a twin - the double having a super en-suite.

The gardens are large and very attractive.

From the cottage Cromer and the north coast is only 20 minutes away.Norwich is an easy 25 minute drive,with Great Yarmouth another 15 minutes further on.Wroxham and the Broads are 25 minutes drive away.

North Walsham is a nice town with a good market on Thursday mornings.

Bus services are excellent from North Walsham.

The property is well maintained and Denise and her husband are very welcoming and helpful.

I would recommend this property to any one wanting a lovely base to explore North Norfolk

Nice cottage with garden

The cottage is in a very good area. Not far from the beach, we were able to cycle there most days.

It was handy for the shops, been close to north walsham town.

The cottage was comfortable and had a nice garden to sit in.

The owners were lovely people.

Would recommend this cottage.

Lovely holiday cottage

Great cottage, fantastic location. Owners Denise and John made us feel very welcome the cottage and garden are beautiful. Local walks a must, plenty of uncrowded beautiful beaches within easy reach. A lovely quiet location. We will definitely go back.

Booking Notes:
A deposit of £100 per week or stay if less than a week will be required to reserve your holiday. The balance payment is due 8 weeks prior to the start date of your holiday. If the start date is less than 8 weeks away, the whole amount is payable.


Changeover Day:
The changeover day for weekly lets is Saturday. Short breaks normally start on a Monday, a Thursday or a Friday, but do contact us with your requirements as we are flexible!
Arrival time is from 4pm and departure is by 10am.

Notes on prices:
2 nights = 50% of weekly price
3 nights = 60% of weekly price
4 nights = 70% of weekly price
5 nights = 80% of weekly price
6 nights = 90% of weekly price

  • Notes on accommodation: Fully inclusive of electricity, heating and water. We welcome up to 2 well-behaved pets at no extra charge. The tiled floors and floorboards ensure you can relax without fear of carpets getting dirty! Sorry but no smoking in the house. A cot for a baby up to 18 months can be put up on request in the bedroom of your choice. Free WiFi is available. Outside: Off the road parking is available for 2 cars in front of your entrance to the property. A large shared garden with mature trees and shrubs is situated at the back and there is a sitting area with a garden table and chairs for your own use. We do not use the garden when you are using it! Utility Room: There is a utility cupboard with ironing board, vacuum cleaner, clothes airer and baby high chair. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All bed linen, bathmats, towels and tea towels are provided and changed weekly. A cot mattress and mattress cover are also available (just bring your own cot linen and blankets). The cottage is thoroughly cleaned between lettings.
