Welcome to Temple Park Crescent. A stylish and tastefully decorated, contemporary apartment, well situated for exploring the various attractions that Historic Edinburgh has to offer. The apartment is fresh, bright, modern, and beautifully appointed with 1 Large Double Bedroom & 1 Single Bedroom. We have tried to provide you with everything to make your stay a really relaxing and pleasant experience. A great night’s sleep in a luxury king size Hypnos bed, crisp cotton sheets and a really well equipped kitchen with integrated dishwasher. Central heating throughout, free Wi-Fi, Flat Screen TV/DVD, Ipod Dock Station. Situated on the first floor of a traditional Edinburgh, stone built tenement, in a quiet residential street. You are very centrally located only 15 minutes walk to the West End of Princes Street, with excellent bus links, 2 minutes from the door. Access to the flat is through a clean, well-lit, shared stairway with the added security benefit of an entry phone system. You also have access to the pleasant, sunny and well-kept, shared garden to the rear of the property. Limited, metered parking is available in the street but we can show you where to park your car free of charge, nearby.

Great place!

We loved this apartment. We spent time in Paris, London, and Edinburgh and this was by far our favorite place. The owner is very considerate and accommodating. The apartment was spotless and supplied with everything you could need, and the owner even left some sweets and milk in the fridge to start off our trip. Much more personal and "homey" than a hotel. I would highly recommend this place!

Great owner, spotless, well equipped but location...

So many good things about this accommodation but the location had a number of drawbacks-minimal cafe and restaurants nearby was the biggest negative. New Town or Morningside would be superior location options.

Ruth however was very helpful and went out of her way to answer questions and arrange for taxi to airport.

The unit was spotless-two flights of stairs to access so travel light. Kirchen was well set up and stocked with tea, coffee, milk and chocolate. Also lots of linens, towels snd decent pillows.

Main bed was more queen sized vs king and second room had small twin.

Lovely apartment, absolutely immaculate, tastefully decorated with great attention to detail. Great location, two minute walk to bus into town or out to the airport, good local shops for all essentials, basics supplied by the owner. Ruth is delightful with lots of local knowledge and the folder in the apartment is great, lots of local restaurants, we visited the recommended sushi restaurant in Bruntsfield, Harajuku Kitchen, 10 Gillespie Place, and had the most amazing meal, Ruth certainly knows her stuff. Would highly recommend and hope to visit again soon.

Fantastic Weekend

Such a lovely pleasant place to stay and just perfect for a stay in Edinburgh. So easy to walk or bus to taxi anywhere in the city. We would highly recommend staying in this apartment for a visit and would most definitely stay here again. Ruth and John were there to greet us on arrival and made us very welcome and we would like to thank them so much for helping to make our weekend in Edinburgh very enjoyable. It makes a difference coming home to such a nice place, so much more personal than a hotel.

Modern apartment with personal touches

Ruth made our stay in the apartment easy and comfortable. The decor is modern and clean with everything we needed and more. Included were some kitchen essential items that meant we could have a cup of tea straight away.

Its location is a 15 min walk into the city centre or a short walk to Bruntsfield with an array of good boutique shops, cafes and restaurants.

The airport is approximately 35/40minutes drive from Edinburgh.

The average taxi fare is about £20, slightly less with a pre-booked taxi.

By train, Haymarket Station is only a 10 minute walk, Taxi Fare about £6 to the apartment.

We also now have a tram link to and from the airport which stops at Haymarket and Waverley Train Stations.

If you are arriving by car, we can advise you on the best route and on parking.

There is metered parking available in the street but it is limited.


15 Minute walk to the West End of Princes Street.

10 Minute walk to the popular area of the Meadows & Bruntsfield, where there are many good Restaurants and Cafe's.

A list of these is provided in the Welcome Information.

Further Details:

An excellent Dry Cleaner and Launderette and a well-stocked Delicatessen/Mini-Supermarket and Pharmacy are situated just round the corner from the apartment.

An ATM/Cashline machine is also available there.

Booking Notes:
We accept bookings of a minimum stay of 2 nights, except during the Edinburgh Festival and the Christmas/New Year period, when the minimum stay is 3 nights.
We prefer to take bookings by email but are available by phone to answer any urgent questions you may have.
For last-minute bookings please contact us for the arrangements.

Changeover Day:
Changeover dates are flexible. Please contact us with your requirements.
Arrival is usually after 3pm and departure by 11am.

Notes on prices:
We offer a " no hidden charges" policy and everything is included.
If you want to book for 1week, you only pay for 6 nights.

We do require a £100 deposit which secures your booking dates and covers us against cancellation. This is refundable within 3 days after your stay.

Payment is made by bank transfer. Cheque only by prior arrangement.
In exceptional circumstances, i.e. non-european visitors, we can accept PayPal but there is a 6% surcharge

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 100% refund for cancellations more than 60 days before check-in date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
