Le Chêne is a stylish 'home from home' house set in its own garden with private 10 x 5m swimming pool and designed to easily accommodate up to six people. Situated just 750m from the charming village of St Saturnin Lès Apt, with superb views of the Luberon and surrounding countryside. Close-by to our own home we maintain and equip the house to a high standard and are on hand to offer any advice or help to enhance your stay.

A perfect spot in the Luberon

We really enjoyed our stay in Le Chene. It is a very well appointed and equipped holiday home.The 3 double bedroom/3 bathroom combination works particularly well for 3 couples. It's location on the edge of town makes for an easy walk for morning bread or an evening trip for a drink or a meal. The views of the Luberon from the house are very special and we particularly liked sitting in the upper terrace which provides a nice bit of cool shade in which to eat or just sit and relax. Even though it was late summer the pool was still warm enough and we swam regularly.

In summary we found Le Chene a very high quality place to stay, which was a good base for day trips, as weĺl as a good place just to relax at home and enjoy the comfort anqd facilities. And the owners, who live nearby, have the canny knack of being helpful while remaining unobtrusive.

We can't wait to return next year.

Ideal place to relax anc chill

Ideal location close to village and its shops, restaurants and bars. The property is furnished and equipped to a very high standard and felt like a home from home. The owners did everything they could to make our stay perfect. We have stayed in many properties in this area but would not hesitate to go back here time after time.

Beautiful property in a stunning location

We loved our recent stay and would recommend Le Chene to anyone considering a trip to this part of the world. David & Karen are great hosts, and really have created a wonderful "home" for their guests to enjoy. St Saturnin is a charming village, retaining an authentic charm, and offers a great selection restaurants and bars. We particularly enjoyed eating at L'Estrade & l'Hotel-Restaurant des Voyageurs during our stay. A lovely two weeks, wish it was longer, and we very much look forward to returning at some point in the future.

Beautiful Villa in Idyllic Location

I have just returned from a wonderful two week stay at Le Chene with family and friends. Le Chene is a beautiful villa with everything you could possibly want or need. The location is superb, with stunning views and a charming village only a short stroll away. David and Karen were the most welcoming of hosts and made sure that everything was just perfect for us. I look forward to returning one day!

Tolle Villa mit super Aussicht

Das Haus ist in einem hervorragenden Zustand. Alles noch sehr neu und gut gepflegt. Es gibt im Haus alles, was man braucht, für den Pool Schwimmreifen, viele Liegen inklusive Auflagen, Sonnenschirm etc. Die Bilder geben einen guten Eindruck.

Die unmittelbare Umgebung ist schön ruhig, man kann wunderbar ausspannen. Dennoch sind es nur wenige Minuten in den Ort.

Manko: Es gibt diese klassischen große Laken mit Überdecken für die Betten. Persönlich sind mir richtige bezogene Bettdecken viel lieber.

Manchmal riecht man den Abwassertank. Und eine kleine Notfallbestückung für den ersten Morgen mit Milch, Eiern, Toastbrot, und Kaffee hätte es perfekt gemacht.

Alles in allem dennoch sehr zu empfehlen!

Owner's Response: Vielen Dank für Ihre Beurteilung. Wir freuen uns, dass Sie Ihren Aufenthalt in unserem Haus gefallen haben. Unsere Betten sollen allen Wetterverhältnissen angepasst sein, weisse Baumwoll-Bettlaken, Decken und landestypische ‘Überdecken’ sollten für genügend Wärme sorgen, auch wenn es mal nicht so warm ist. Selbstverständlich werden wir den Abwassertank überprüfen. Um auf das gewünschte Willkommens-Paket einzugehen, denken wir, dass jeder Gast seine individuellen Vorlieben hat und insofern bieten wir deswegen eine Flasche vom lokalen Rose Wein an. Wir hoffen, dass wir sie dennoch wieder einmal als unsere Gäste hier im Hause begrüßen zu dürfen. Mit liebem Gruss, David & Karen Taylor

Fantastic house! Wished we had booked a fortnight!

The house was gorgeous and had everything we needed. Wonderful pool which the children loved. The location is fantastic and the family truly enjoyed the escape! Really wished we had booked a fortnight!
