Guestbook comments from the owner

We had a lovely family 2 week stay. We all had a fantastic time including the young children. The house is five star with all amenities you can think of. The owners have thought of everything down to the reading glasses!! The real grab here is the beautifully maintained huge garden with a stream;so peaceful. They also have a games room which the kids loved. The owners were a pleasure to work with. Would highly recommend!

Our group included 8 people: 4 adults and 4 children (6-8 years old). The cottage is comfortable and has everything needed for a very enjoyable stay. We kept being surprised of how mindful the owners are of the cottage guests: you can even find a drawer with spare reading glasses, in case you forgot yours!

The cottage has four good size and comfortable rooms, two bathrooms on the same floor as the bedroom plus a toilet room on the ground floor. Large kitchen with everything needed. Big and confortable living room with a fire place we have used every day

Incredible weekend in the Pennines with friends

  • 5 of 5

The house was absolutely incredible, clean, tidy, plenty of things you need with instructions and help, dish washer, TV's, fibre internet, games room, big tables, lots of cutlery and fridge space, spare bedding and towels, etc. You name it, this house has got it. The owners were perfect, helping us with info building up to the trip and called us to see if we needed anything on the first night.

There's also plenty of garden space secure off road parking which is a nice plus. Beds very comfortable, showers powerful and as hot as you needed on a combi boiler. The decoration was up to date and to a very high standard also!

It house us 8 friends easily and we had plenty of space for big board games and games on the TV. Even with this amount of people there was no problems with amount of bathrooms and showers or toilets either.

The area is beautiful but because of the weather we didn't do any walks, but we drove for 5 minutes to one of the nearby pubs for great food.

Thank you so much for a great weekend!

Brilliant secluded getaway

  • 5 of 5

This place was ideal for a much needed get away with friends. Lovely spacious house with large sitting room and dining room. Great spacious bedrooms with enough room to sleep 8+ people. All the facilities and extras you could bed with a nice touch of some bottles of wine. There is a great games room in the garage which led to hours of fun. The garden was beautiful, we just wish we had better weather to enjoy it. We would definitely come back here again when the weather is warmer so we can take advantage of the garden.

Fantastic house!

  • 5 of 5

Spent a lovely bank holiday weekend here. Huge living room area, where our full group could socialise comfortably and great dining and kitchen space too. The huge garden area really comes into it's own in good weather and you could spend an entire afternoon just walking around it.

Amazing house with full it

  • 5 of 5

Everything is great decoration, facilities, garden, films library kitchen etc

I had 2 nice days in the house and everything was perfect. The only issue there was the Internet speed maybe because of the general service.
