Guestbook comments from the owner

It's a brilliant place, felt like staying at a friends house rather than a rental.

Didn't want to leave! Definitely coming back!

The cottage has a warm welcoming atmosphere, light and airy and beautifully decorated. The kitchen is well equipped and the lounge inviting with a big fireplace. The beds are super comfortable and we all slept well. It was only the lure of Buck's Fizz in the pretty sheltered garden that dragged us to our feet. It's a real sun trap, and was warm enough for tshirts even in March. If youre feeling energetic the moors are just a little way up the hill, the views are lovely. A short walk down hill to the beach and a friendly pub for lunch. Perfect.

Really well kept and perfect for family of 5 plus dog

  • 5 of 5

Very well equipped cottage and ideally located 10 mins walk from main street but nicely tucked away too. Plus on the main hills road to the moors so ideal for walking etc. Very useful guide to local walks, dog friendly beaches and stuff for the kids provided in the cottage too. Would definitely return.

Great cottage...couldn’t fault it.

  • 5 of 5

We were trapped up North Hill due to the freak weather conditions (the worst snow for 20 years) but thoroughly enjoyed our captivity. A beautifully appointed cottage, well equipped in every way with a very helpful owner.

Lovely cottage

  • 4 of 5

We stayed in Lower Moor Farm Cottage for three nights, it’s a lovely cottage, comfortable and well equipped, an experience using an aga for the first time a very warm welcome entering cottage. Only had 4 dining chairs so we had to use a garden chair as there were 5 of us. Bedrooms comfortable. We explored the surrounding hills and spent time on the beaches quite refreshing in February.

Fantastic Weekend

  • 5 of 5

Recently returned from a fantastic weekend away at this lovely cottage. On arrival there was a little welcome pack of tea, coffee, milk and chocolate biscuits, which went down a treat. The cottage was very clean and tidy and well presented. Location was perfect, 2 minutes drive to town and beech. For those with toddlers, there's plenty of room for cot beds and a gate at the top of the stairs and a door closing off the entrance to the stairs, perfect for keeping those tiny feet safe. Would definitely recommend this place.
