Cuckoo Hollow is a wonderful 5 bedroom house, decorated to a high standard just 2 minutes from Daymer Beach. There a re 2 ensuite master bedrooms and 3 other bathrooms for guests to use. There is a comfortable sitting room with a log burning stove and TV and a separate games room with a games table, TV and playstation and Wii. The open plan kitchen and breakfast room leads out onto the garden via bi folding doors, perfect for a BBQ on the patio. There is also an office with BT phone and internet, suitable for a space to get some work done if required. The large boot room is an ideally place to leave muddy boots and coats and is equipped with a washing machine and tumble dryer. This much loved family home, has been finished to a high standard and is perfect for family holidays on the beach.

Wonderful home, in amazing setting in Trebetherick close to both Rock and Polzeath

We had a wonderful holiday at Cuckoo Hollow. The setting is perfect and the house beautiful and comfortable and quiet.Two minutes and you are at Daymer Bay beach. A minute more and you have the breathtaking walk for the Bay to Polzeath. Locally you have great eating places - the casual Mowhay Cafe or the more formal Resteraunt at the St. Moritz Hotel. Within five minutes you have Great dining in Rock including Nathan Outlaws' The Mariner pub or 15 minutes away- Resteraunt Nathan Outlaw at Port Issac. Just perfect and we can't wait to return

Fabulous Holiday house in North Cornwall

The house is in a great position very close to Daymer bay. The house is in a sheltered spot so despite the unusual Easterly winds when were we able to enjoy the garden and patio.

The house itself was immaculate and very comfortable. The huge kitchen/dining room leading out to the patio was the centre of the house for us enhanced by the Sonos sound system in the kitchen.

The design of the house has been really well thought out for a holiday house in Cornwall.

The owner and housekeeper were all very helpful.

I would highly recommend this property. It is not inexpensive but it is great and worth it.

Location

Coast/Beach:

Daymer Bay beach is a popular holiday destination for families. The combination of fine level sand, backed by sand dunes. The beach has a few rock pools along the northern edge. At low tide there is a large expanse of sandthe sand, the beach stretches along the edge of the River camel, past Brea Hill in a southerly direction to Rock.

Many people choose to walk along sands down to Rock, where they can take the passenger Ferry to Padstow.

Distances:

The house is at the bottom of Daymer Lane, next to the beach. We are a 5 minute drive or 45 minute walk to Polzeath Beach which is a popular surfing Beach. We are a 10 minute drive or 45 minute walk to Rock which is famous for it's sailing club. We are across the estuary from Padstow. You can catch a ferry every 15 minutes from Rock. Wadebridge is a 10 minute drive and has many shops and supermarkets.
