The apartment is situated on a beautiful complex, with immaculately maintained gardens and communal facilities. A wonderful swimming pool and a separate children's pool. It benefits from having a large private corner balcony, with sea and hillside views, wonderful for a quiet relaxing drink in the evenings, or sunbathing in the daytime on our sun loungers. Fully air conditioned with full UK TV/DVD and many other countries too.

Fully compliant with new Spanish rental legislation and tourism licence. This is regulatory as from May 11th 2016 so if you are viewing other properties it may be worth you asking.

Check in time after 4pm, Check out time 11am. More than happy to adjust this to suit you and your flights as long as it doesn't interfere with the previous or next guests.

I, Nigel, live in the UK and own the apartment with my wife Nicola. We purchased this apartment new, and have had many years combining a mixture of both holiday tenants and long term tenants. In between, we use the apartment ourselves. We love the area, and the complex, and have seen both grow and flourish over the years to the beautiful position they are in today.
I have been the Vice President of this holiday complex for 6 years, and am passionate about it's future and making it the best possible stay you can have. As such, if you require more apartments for block bookings, please do not hesitate to contact me and I will do my best to assist.
I am a software company director, and enjoy my spare time renovating and repairing classic jukeboxes, and my 1971 VW camper van.

Why Nigel Pugh chose Manilva area
This location is absolutely perfect for holidays, and popular with long term tenants. Away from the high rise resorts closer to the airport, it offers quiet and relaxation, yet is close to all forms of entertainment. Being a 40 min walk or 5 minute drive to the local port of Duquesa is a huge advantage. This marina improves every year, more restaurants opening, and the beach walk from the apartments into the marina is ideal, with a bar every 5-10 mins walk.
We just love the area, and the all round sun.

The private sea view and an apartment that is not overlooked is what made us choose this particular one.
The building is split level, so you walk in at ground level by the swimming pool, and without having to use the lift or stairs, you are on the first floor. No-one walking past the balcony, no noise, just relaxing..

Excellent apartment in well kept small complex
Pleased to be able to recommend this well kept apartment. With views of the sea on the rear balcony it is both private and quiet. Everything you need is in the apartment from cooking to relaxation. The owner knows what people need/use! The local agent was very helpful, knowledgable and friendly. The garden and pool area, as well as all the walkways and hedges are all well kept. Onsite staff included a life guard and gardener. The nearby towns are not overrun by tourism and local eateries offer plenty of choice. Really enjoyed our stay there.

L appartement est très propre et fonctionnel, la terrasse est spacieuse et une belle vue sur la colline et vue mer, c est très calme, le complexe est très bien entretenu, très agréable, idéal pour passer de bonnes vacances en famille ou en couple, la plage est très proche 5 mn à pied avec des petits restaurants de plage très sympa , idéal pour visiter l andalousie, très bien place, le propriétaire est très serieux, ça fait plusieurs années que nous venons et nous n avons jamais été déçus, les photos de l appartement sont conforme a la realite je recommande cette location,tout est parfait
Lovely, fresh and Clean Apartment
This was our 2nd visit to this apartment, also just booked for next year, this is how impressed we are, not only with the spacious apartment and sea view balcony, but with the whole set up. The complex itself is clean and fresh and very well maintained. It has also just been re-painted. Once again Chris, the onsite manager was brilliant and nothing was too much trouble. If you are looking for a relaxing holiday , this is the place.
Great Apartment in nice complex
Apartment is well suited to a family of four people externally there is a balcony with table and sea views .Its also got the sun in the afternoon/evening. Internally there is a large kitchen diner/living room .The kitchen is well equipped with everything you could need. There are two bathrooms one with a shower and the second with a bath .There are also two bedrooms one with a double bed and the second with two singles both have ample storage space. This is aso downstairs parking space .Within the grounds of the complex there is a large pool area with separate kids pool and a well maintained grassed sitting area for sun loungers. We really enjoyed our stay its 5 mins walk to the beach and the supermarket is 5 mins drive away. its also a nice walk into the port along the coast about 45 mins walk where there are loads of restaurants. We used the cafe's along the beach all provided really nice food for lunch !! All in all a great apartment in a lovely location
Our party was 2 couples holidaying together. From the moment we made a booking inquiry to the day of departure, the landlord and property manager were nothing but personable, welcoming and accommodating, even allowing us to stay an extra night, last minute. The property was great, with everything you could need in the way of utensils, facilities etc, so no problem for cozy evenings in and spacious enough for 4 adults. The views of the sea and the hills are breathtaking. Location is great, if you don't have a car, there is a fair bit of walking, but a pleasant walk at that, with plenty of beach bars along the way to La Duquesa. The local beaches are lush, which along with the pool and being a water baby myself is high on the list of priorities. I highly recommend.
Fabulous apartment all home comforts provided . Stylish decor two bathrooms, fantastic balcony with views of sea and mountains . Peaceful location yet only short drive from beach shops bars and restaurants. Nigel is perfect landlord great communication and nothing too much trouble . Activity and Interests
5 minutes walk to the nearest sandy beach, and our apartment has a sea view.
Malaga airport is 65 miles away, and Gibraltar airport is 15 miles. Its a really easy journey along either the A7 or AP7 toll road, both of which run parallel to the coast. I estimate 55 minutes drive from Malaga and around half an hour from Gibraltar airport.
The location provides perfect access to the following areas of interest:-
La Duquesa Marina, 5 mins drive maximum, 40 mins lovely beach walk.
Marbella and Puerto Banus a short 30 mins drive.
Sotogrande 15 mins, Gibraltar 30 minutes.
Lovely unspoiled hillside town of Mijas, with the donkeys, an hour.
For longer day's out there is the wonderful historic city of Seville, 2 hrs drive, Granada and the wonderful Alhambra Palace 3 hrs drive.
Take a walk along the beach into La Duquesa Marina, stopping at a beach bar literally every 5 minutes along the way. This is a wonderful little town, full of restaurants of all nationalities, lovely bars and coffee areas. Little stalls around the marina area in high season. I have visited all the resorts on this coast and really can say La Duquesa is the nicest of all. Right next to this is Sabinillas, a more Spanish town, with fantastic restaurants along the sea front. Banks and supermarkets here too.
There is a supermarket one minutes drive away, another one 5 mins drive away, and a huge Carreffour hypermarket just 15 mins down the road in Estepona.
Unlimited reliable fast private internet / Wifi available in our apartment. Not shared. Linked to TV to access all UK TV channels. Please note this is rare in a holiday apartment due to the satellites being de-comissioned in February this year. A small charge is requested in order for me to continue subscrbing to this service and providing the facility. This can be set up on your arrival.

A deposit of £100 per week booked will be required upon booking, the balance of payment 8 weeks prior to arrival. Upon receipt, I will email you to confirm the payment and booking details.
Upon arrival you will be met and given the keys and an introduction to the apartment, and be requested to pay 70 Euro meet and greet gratuity in advance.
There are NO additional charges other than the price you pay and the meet and greet. Cleaning for a standard stay is covered within the costs.
No pets please (unless agreed in advance) and strictly no smoking inside the apartment.
Preferably Saturday to Saturday in high season, but happy to negotiate.
The apartment will be available at 4pm on the day of arrival, and on your last day will need to vacate at 10am.
There is a 50 Euro charge for "out of sociable hours" arrivals payable upon arrival.

- Notes on accommodation: This is a wonderful privately positioned apartment, with fantastic views. It is furnished to a superb standard and is immaculately maintained. The large corner balcony area is wonderful for sunbathing, relaxing or enjoying evening drinks around the patio table. Outside: The stunning complex features a large communal swimming pool* and a childrens' pool, and sunbathing area with loungers and sun shades. Communal shower area and also poolside shower area. (Children's pool open all year, main pool open high season with a lifeguard for safety.) All year bathing within the gardens. The complex is private and gated, providing a wonderful and relaxing atmosphere with all year round sunshine. Utility Room: For long staying tenants or holiday lets I am happy to provide a large private secure basement storage area. Ideal for push bikes and other possessions. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All fresh towels and linen are supplied. The property will be fully cleaned prior to your arrival. Upon arrival, a 70 Euro fee will be taken to pay for the cleaning. If you plan on a long stay, extra cleaning can be arranged at an additional cost.
