About the Owner

We are Brenda and Stan Baldock, we first acquired our property in 1977, deciding to move to Norfolk after enjoying many happy holidays in this area. Once retired we developed the Cygnets Nest which is adjoining our permanent residence, so that we could offer visitors a relaxing retreat to explore the many joys of North Norfolk. You will be greeted with a warm welcome and then left to enjoy your stay without further interruption, unless you request assistance from us.

Beautiful accommodation in an quiet location yet close to supermarkets and shops. ideal for a relaxing holiday but with plenty to see and do nearby. Very helpful and friendly owner who greeted on arrival and was on hand if anything needed but was never intrusive. Would definitely recommend and hope to return soon.

a very nice place

  • 5 of 5

Cignets nest was more than we expected. It is a clean, spacious and very comfortable house to stay in. The weather was nice during our stay and most of the days we were wandering at the coast. My husband is a birdwatcher, so the marshes were very populair. But for me there was enough to see. Medieval churches, ruines, manors and castles, nice small towns and a lot of brocante shops. But because the weather was very nice in the last week of april till the may bankholiday, we spended most of our time in nature reserves.

About the cottage

clean, well equipped and very complete. We think the owners site is too modest about the luxury. Honestly we did not expect such a complete, spacious and nice house. The owners are nice people, who are willing to make your holiday the best in their service. Love your towels Brenda!

The only minus thing is the length of the bed. My husband who is 189cm tall, did just fit in the length of te bed, head to heels. But we did sleep well.☺

we have told our friends and family about our holiday home, the silence, the nature and the very nice place gave us a unforgettable holiday.

a very nice home

  • 5 of 5

We loved the property, it was tidy, we had a lot of space, the house was well equipped and we loved to be in Norfolk. We think that the internetsite is too modest, the place has everything you need. The contact with the owner was very pleasant, we could get everything we needed in costumer service. We mostly wandered around at the coast and at the birdwatchingsspots. But there is more, a lot of old manors, houses and churches, nice small and old towns and nice brocanteshops. We had a lovely time, 11 days was too short, but we both were full of energy when we came home.

Our friends and family had to hear all about the nice holiday and the lovely place we stayed in.

Are you curious, try it!
