Great Family reunion

  • 5 of 5

Extremely well thought out accommodation. The bedding and towels lovely. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need. Dinning area was great for big families and the lounge was really comfortable. I could not have asked for more. Absolutely loved it

peaceful cottage close to many outdoor activities

  • 5 of 5

Our family stayed here for 2 weeks in mid August. We had a wonderful time. The cottage was very clean, spacious and is at the top of the hill with a spectacular view. The owners have thought of everything with cable TV, a collection of books, games, wifi, a dishwasher, washing machine, large fridge and freezer (in terms of European sizing) and brochures of the many activities available for you in Wales. The cottage is surrounded by trails that you can walk and there are sheep in the fields just outside.

As Canadians, this was our first time visiting Wales and it did not disappoint. We were blessed to have sunny weather for most of the two weeks (which is apparently rare!) . Wales was more beautiful then we had imagined and is dotted with castles throughout the hilly, heather filled countryside.

The cottage is located within a short driving distance to many beaches where our kids caught crabs and built sandcastles for hours. Although many Brits were swimming, the water was much too cold for us. As written, the cottage is also on the border of Snowdonia National Park. We did several hikes within the park with our three children who had never been in the mountains before. It was lovely and we had a great time as a family walking the terrain. We found that although you could spend money on attractions, there was a lot to do and explore in Wales without having to spend a fortune.

We also enjoyed visiting many of the nearby towns which are full of history, pubs and little shops. We visited two medieval castles during our time in Wales and ate a delicious meal at a restaurant just down the road, which offered quality gluten free dining as well for the two Celiacs in our family.

All in all we had a fabulous time and would recommend this vacation home.

Perfect holiday cottage

  • 5 of 5

I cannot imagine a more perfect place to spend a few days in North Wales. From our first view of the cottage with its fantastic views over the Conwy Valley we knew we had chosen well. How lovely to sit out on the terrace, gin and tonic in hand, watching the sheep and rabbits in neighbouring fields and just enjoying the peace and quiet. The accommodation was excellent for our three generations, extremely well equipped and comfortable and the conservatory was great for breakfast. Thank you Jo for being so helpful and providing such good instructions.

Great cottage and location

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at this lovely cottage for a long weekend, including the Snowdonia half marathon. It was the perfect cottage and location for a weekend break away from busy London. The cottage has real character and the views on the valley with the sheep, including some newborn lambs, were very pleasant. Would definitely recommend to stay at this cottage when visiting Snowdonia.

Lovely property giving us a great holiday

  • 4 of 5

The house is roomy, well-equipped and ideally placed for the North Wales attractions. We liked the kitchen/diner which enhanced the family feel of the house and accommodated all 8 of us very well. We were entertained by the evening visits of the lambs!!
