About the property

The villa has 4 large sized bedrooms all with en-suite bathrooms, a fully fitted kitchen with all mod-cons including a dishwasher,washing machine. There is an iron gate which secures the entrance to the kitchen area which means the kitchen door can be left open, the iron gate closed to keep toddlers from getting out to the pool area. Numerous sun terraces with stunning views overlooking the town and sea with an excellent swimming pool. Dining room and 3 bedrooms with aircon. Villa has Sky free view TV. & BBC. Free Wifi / Internet. Villa is cleaned before arrival. Linen and towels are provided - one per person, and there are beach towels there as well. Household waste and all refuse including pool inflatables and toys have to be disposed of by occupants prior to vacating the property. Cleaners do not visit or remove rubbish. Quite location but close to village- best of both worlds.

Why Julian Kenny chose Mijas

When we were looking for a holiday home, we viewed many places. but fell in love with La Cala Village and the spectacular views overlooking the sea. The Villa is just so peaceful and private, but at the same time a short walk takes you into the hub of the activity. The Villa enjoys the sunshine around the pool area from early morning until approx 7.30pm. There are plenty of shaded areas around the villa at different times of the day if it gets too hot. in the evening meander down to the end of the pool and watch the sun go down over the sea, and the village light up, or go quietly around the back of the Villa and view the frog before it spots you and hops into the fish pond. The Village is only a short walk down hill, Restaurante Ole is at the end of the Avenue, guaranteed a big welcome and lovely food at a reasonable price. a taxi ride home for the "mature" (sounds better than older) lazy people and another taxi for those wanting to head into Fuengirola for the "late" night life. We had the pleasure of our eldest daughter getting married from the Villa in May 2014 and our other daughter married in April 2017, and having the extended family hang out in the pool the next day. Great fun was had by young and old in "The battle of the cousins" water games. steps leading up to the Villa from street, but there are different patios to take a breather.

La Cala De Mijas:

Approx. 18 minute walk, 5 mins drive to the beach. Large Saturday/wednesday Market in the village. Nearest supermarket is at the end of the hill 10 min walk Mercodona. The village has a plethora of lovely restaurants. New boardwalk Coastal path extending from La Cala to Calahonda.

Travel:

Malaga Airport, 25 mins. Good inexpensive cheap train service between Airport/Malaga and Fuengirola.

Taxi or bus from Fuengirola to La Cala. Car hire is recommended. There are plenty of taxis in the village. It's nice to walk down to the village, but nicer to get a taxi back as the road is a bit steep!

Distances:

The village is only 15 mins walking circa 3/4 mins by car. Fuengirola is approx 15 minutes and Marbella is 25 minutes by car.

Further Details:

At the heart of the Costa del Sol on Mijas Costa, only a short distance from Marbella and Fuengirola, you will love the charm of this old fishing pueblo. For further info on La Cala, check out "la Cala de Mijas tourist website". Fuengirola Tivoli World is only 18 mins by car. Not to be missed is "El Corte Ingles" Department store. Also Miramar shopping centre (when the sun is not shining). Beautiful butterfly park and Sea World in Benalmadena......and much much more.

Superb position with lovely views of the town and sea

Took my daughter, son in law and 3 grandchildren. We all thoroughly enjoyed it. It was their first experience of Cala Mijas and they all want to come again. The villa was great in all aspects.

Absolutely Perfect, Beautiful Villa!

We stayed in Villa Lili in 2015 with our family and we enjoyed it so much that we had to go back! So this year we decided to take 4 of our friends with us, 6 of us stayed in the villa in total. When we arrived the villa was spotless. Looked cleaned and smelt clean. All the bedrooms were made up lovely, was perfect. The outside area also was clean and tidy with sunbeds for us all. There is a BBQ at the villa so we all stayed in one evening and made use of this as well. The pool is a great size and we spent most of our days in it or lounging around it. The beach, restaurants, supermarkets and shops are all within walking distance to this beautiful villa, i would say around 10 mins, so not far at all. My partner and i having been coming to La Cala for years so we are used to the area and our friends loved it here.

Julian, the owner of Villa Lili, has been so helpful and very friendly, always willing to help or answer any questions we had. We had the most amazing week with our friends. We enjoyed dinner at, The Streets, El Gusto's, Olivia's, The Terrace and El Torreon. We also went to a waterpark called Aqualand in Torremolinos which was about 20-25min taxi ride which was a lot of fun!

i cannot recommend this stunning villa enough.

We cannot wait to return in 2019!

Great Villa, Perfect Location

Villa was very clean and spacious for our group of 6 adults and 2 babies. Ideal location only 8 mins walk to the nearest supermarket and just over 10 to the beach.

The pool was a good size and the kitchen was well equipped. All bedrooms were clean and tidy. English TV helped with the little ones occasionally and the Wifi was pretty quick.

All in all and great stay here. Can't go wrong for a week.

Fantastic villa, amazing pool, had everything we needed.

The villa exceeded all of our expectations. We were a family of 4 adults and two children (7 and 5). The girls spent hours in the pool and the adults lazed around in the sun. The pool is in the sun all day and therefore gets very warm by mid afternoon.

The villa is very spacious so we all had room to get away from one another if we wanted to. It is also very well equipped, there wasn't anything that we couldn't find.

We found the location perfect, about a 10-15 minute walk down hill into the beautiful cala de mijas. We never attempted walking back up the hill, opting for a taxi which cost about 6 euros.

Can also recommend the restaurant Ole which is only 5 minutes from the villa. We were greeted with a warm welcome and the food was amazing. Very family friendly, the girls were spoilt.

Hyrde huset mellan 19/12-31/12-16. Vi var 8 vuxna som fira min 50 års dag/Jul. Huset i sig är väldigt trevligt med en fantastisk atmosfär. Servicen/kontakten med ansvarig funka bra. Vid ankomst såg allt ok ut men efter någon dag upptäcktes småfel, vilka nästan alla fixades efter kontakt. Bilderna från Home and away såg bättre ut än verkligheten, det börjar bli dags att fresha upp bostaden få den fri från mögeldoft samt utrusta med bättre sängar ifall man vill bibehålla hyres nivån.
