A home from home holiday

This was all as listed. Very comfortable and loads of room. Well maintained and cleaned twice weekly. Anything required only a phone call away with rapid response. Definitely a car needed but in easy access of Tavira Town and beaches. Pleasant local eating places.

Certainly a place for a return visit.

très belle grande villa très bien équipée

Grande villa dans un quartier calme proche de Tavira. La maison est bien entretenue et propre. Les chambres sont spacieuses. Un service de nettoyage a lieu une fois par semaine ce qui est très appréciable. Nous avons rarement vu une maison en location avec cuisine aussi bien équipée, on y trouve tout ce qui est nécessaire. Grand jardin où nous avons pu profiter le soir de nous faire des poissons sur le grill. La piscine est très grande, toutefois nous avons eu quelques problèmes avec le système de circulation de l'eau qui ne fonctionnait pas bien du tout. La climatisation est installée mais ne fonctionnait pas durant notre séjour, nous avons utilisé les ventilateurs mis à disposition. La responsable de l'agence, Lisa, est très serviable et disponible. Nous recommandons vivement cette location.

Great family villa

We have stayed here for the last four years ! It's a great family villa,homely well stocked kitchen and great pool area . Lots of sun beds and umbrellas. I cannot recommend this villa highly enough .Book andd see for yourself ,photos do not do it justice

Lovely holiday, fantastic house. Everything posing provided. I have never stayed any where with so many kitchen utensils or crockery, so helpful!

Car: recommended


The nearest beaches are around Tavira, and Santa Luzia. The stunning golden sandy island beaches can be accessed along the coast the nearest being Praia do Baril, just a 10 mins drive. A little further along is St. Luzia a small fishing village where you can take a water taxi across to the island. Tavira island is the most popular, 20 mins drive to Quatro Agua where there is a regular ferry to take foot passengers across the river. Once there you will find numerous restaurants, bars.


Faro airport is the nearest airport and takes around 20mins to get to the Villa via the motorway A22. The border to Spain is also very close approx 20mins., making Seville airport a good option. Lisbon is a 3 hour drive or train journey, so Lisbon International airport is a good option too.


The Villa is situated on the edge of Santo Estevao, a lovely Portuguese village/town. There are a couple of coffee shops with a small mini market, which sells most everyday groceries. St. Estevao is a very typical Algarve village, church, pharmacy, coffee shops and excellent great value restaurant. Tavira is the main town, 15mins drive, Moncarapacho is 5mins.

Further Details:

The villa is located on the edge of St. Estevao where you will find a traditional local restaurant, O Forno, two coffee shops, two minimarkets, a pharmacy and church. Luz de Tavira a small town, with a daily fresh fish and vegetable market, is only a few minutes' drive. The historical town of Tavira is only a 10 minute drive away, with all its culture, festas, and cobbled streets. Moncarapacho is just a 10 min drive and larger than St. Estevao you will find banks, restaurants, bakery, post office, petrol station and morning fish and veg market. The monthly gypsey market visits Moncarapacho the first Sunday of each month and St Caterina country market is the last Sunday of the month.

The stunning beaches of Santa Luzia, Tavira, and Fuseta are all within a very short driving distance. In fact you could cycle to Santa Luzia in about 15 Minutes.
