Luxury townhouse, located in a tranquil environment yet minutes from the beach

Mango Court is the perfect location for your holiday on the beautiful West Coast of Barbados. This townhouse is nestled in a quiet road just a ten minute stroll from the crystal clear Caribbean Sea and golden sandy beach.

Number 2 is one of just four houses set within a walled courtyard development which provides both privacy and security, and entry is gained by electronic gates. Set around a beautiful turquoise pool with two outdoor showers, the large front courtyard area is the perfect place to relax. Sun loungers and a large umbrella are provided, and the small covered front patio with comfortable chairs is an ideal spot for reading, or enjoying a glass of wine under the stars before heading out to dinner at one of the many excellent restaurants nearby.

This 2 bedroom 2 1/2 bathroom property is the ideal home away from home for discerning couples, friends or families. Stylishly furnished to provide colonial style living, it has a light and airy feel with a spacious open plan lounge and French doors leading to a covered dining terrace, which looks on to a private courtyard garden. The hand built wooden kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need for your stay. Upstairs there are two air conditioned double bedrooms, and two bathrooms.

Andrea, the Property Manager, will liaise with you before your holiday and answer any questions you have. She will be at the house to welcome you on arrival and be available throughout your stay to ensure you have everything you need. A weekly maid service is included along with a welcome pack of essentials to start you off (tea, coffee, bread, milk, butter, local beers and a bottle of wine)

I chose this location for its close proximity to the sea and all the entertainment that the West coast has to offer. There are beach bars for sundowners, excellent restaurants for special nights out and lively bars where the music is good, the beers are cold and the company always friendly.

A gem of a house !!!

On our arrival we knew we had found a wonderful holiday let. First off it was great to have a welcome pack so no need to rush to a shop to have that first cuppa or beer after your journey! The house was perfect. Very clean, well decorated and maintained with everything you needed for your stay.

Andrea ,the property manager , was very helpful if needed. We stayed for a month and loved every minute of it.The actual complex is 4 properties, although for about a week we had the pool to ourselves.

Being there a month we didn't go out every evening so it was really pleasant sitting around the pool or relaxing in the very comfortable house.

The location is excellent. A short stroll to a lovely quiet beach or if you wanted to go further afield there are bus stops at the end of the road in either direction and the fares are very cheap.

We really like Speightstown and spend a lot of time there.

We particurlarly like Jumas, the beach there is very good , sun beds are supplied and a very good restaurant for snacks or meals.

There are many restaurants and bars just a short bus ride away from the property so you are never at a loss for somewhere to go,ideal if you don't want to

travel further afield although nowhere on the island is too far.

We have stayed many times in Barbados and this far outshines any other place we have stayed in.

We will be returning this year and have recommended it to friends and family.

You will not be disappointed if you book this property !!

Pretty well-appointed house

The house is pretty and well furnished. The beds are comfortable, with masses of cupboard and drawer space. The ensuite bathroom is very small, but functional, with an excellent shower and the second bathroom is spacious, again with an excellent shower. The kitchen has a very good washing machine, but no dishwasher, a large oven and hob and a very good size fridge, with deep freeze compartment. It was immaculate and the house manager, Andrea is marvellous and so helpful, should any problem arise. Our parasol blew over in a very strong storm, and she immediately got it mended and returned. The outside area by the pool is very pretty, with loungers and the pool is lovely. It is about a 10 minute walk to the beach by the Fairmont Royal Paviillion, where there are a couple of beach cafes and beach loungers and parasols to rent, but the Heron Bay beach is closer, without beach facilities, other than hotel bars.

The house is very well furnished and maintained in a very pretty setting. It was a delight to see the family of 5 monkeys walking along the top of the rear garden wall almost daily! The ceiling fans are great all,over the house and the air con is good in the two bedrooms. It is an extremely airy house, very well appointed.

The perfect holiday home

This really is a beautiful property - located near an amazing beach and just down the road from the Lonestar Hotel, it has everything you could want for a holiday home.

Clean, spacious, bright with all the amenities, very comfortable bedrooms with ac - shares a (very clean) pool with the 4 other homes (but we had it to ourselves for our stay). The outside dining area is lovely, perfect for having a bbq with some fresh fish purchased from the near by fish market. Although there is a coded gate to gain access to the property by, it is in a very safe area.

There is an amazing beach, one of the best on the island, a few mins walk from the house, which generally does not get busy at all.

A few mins down the road holetown has a big supermarket with everything you might need - there are a few food shacks on the way (rock net grill being one of them), had better and more authentic food from these shacks than at some of the over priced restaurants on the west coast where the food can be very average.

Alex, the property owner was very helpful with some great info in the booking process, and Andrea, the property manager, made our arrival very easy by picking up some groceries (and a complimentary bottle of wine / beers which went down a treat!), arranging items we needed for our baby, and answered any questions as we had them.

Overall a fantastic and peaceful place to stay. Far better, more spacious, and cheaper, than staying in one of the near by hotels. We will definitely be staying here again on our next visit to Barbados.

Beautiful light, airy and well appointed villa

This is our third time at Mango Court we love it so much. The villa has everything you could need for a relaxing stay from it's comfy furniture to the glistening pool a few steps from your front door where there are two dedicated sun loungers and parasol for your personal use. It is a short stroll to the beach (Heron Bay) and a quick bus ride into Holetown where there are plenty of bars, restaurants and shops. As we usually stay for 4 weeks we need a villa where we can do a lot of self-catering and the kitchen here has all the appliances you will need plus a wide range of crockery and cutlery. Having breakfast in the sunny outdoor dining space is the very best way to start the day! Andrea the property manager keeps everything lovely and is very responsive to any questions you may have about the property or area. All in all it's a great place to stay for your vacation.

Pretty villa in perfect location!

Villa is in a great location, close to lovely beaches, a bus stop, Holetown and restaurants. Alex & Jason are superb hosts and very attentive. The villa is spacious and light, furnished beautifully, spotlessly clean and well equipped. It was a great base for us to explore the island once again.

Relaxing villa

A very friendly welcome by Alex set the tone for our relaxing week at Mango Court.

Ideally situated for both beaches(walking) and Holetown (bus), we were able to find new places to enjoy, despite having stayed at both Sugar Hill and Westmorland previously.

The internal accommodation was relaxing and functional for four adults, with the charming pool courtyard a lovely place to relax.

Alex was kind enough to post on to us something we left behind on leaving; overall a very comfortable villa enthusiastically managed. Highly recommended.

Mango Court is just a ten minute walk from both Heron Bay and Alleynes Bay. Both are beautiful golden sandy beaches where you can sunbathe, snorkel and swim, and have access to water sports, beach bars and top class restaurants.

Within a short drive are other beaches including Payne's Bay, Sandy Lane and Mullins with its lively beach bar. The South and East coasts are easily accessible and all worth a visit.


Royal Westmoreland is 5 minutes away by car; Sandy Lane is a ten minute drive.


The Sugar Hill resort is nearby for those who wish to play during their stay.


Enjoy the ocean - have a go at water-skiing or hire a jet ski. Boats and catamarans can be chartered for sightseeing, fishing, diving and snorkelling.


Bridgetown, the country’s capital and Heritage Area is worth a visit, and is approximately 30 minutes by car. Other places of interest are St Nicholas Abbey (approx. 25 mins away by car) and from here you can explore the beautiful rugged East coast which is on the Atlantic Ocean side of the Island.


Holetown is only one mile away. Here you will find the new Limegrove Lifestyle centre with its coffee shops, restaurants and designer shops. Holetown also has a good cross section of eateries from family eating to high end dining.

A large supermarket stocks local and foreign produce including Waitrose products, and there are 3 Banks in the area with ATMS. Close by is the Sandy Crest Medical centre which is open 24 hours a day.


Grantley Adams International Airport is a 40 minute drive away.

Car hire is recommended in order that you can fully enjoy the Island but for those of you who do not wish to drive there is a bus stop two minutes down the road and buses are frequent and cheap. There are plenty of taxis available and trips around the Island can be arranged. Please note we drive on the LEFT here.


Barbados is a small country with a huge diversity of activities to entertain and delight its visitors. Whether your interests lie in history, sport, nature or just enjoying the sunshine you will find lots to do here.
