Revel Stones is a bright cottage in the heart of the Lake District - with two en-suite bedrooms, lounge/kitchen/dining area full cooking facilities. The lounge is on the upper level and the bedrooms are on the lower level (down a flight of stairs). Revel Stones is situated on a quiet residential road, a few minutes from the shops, café, bars, restaurants with its own private parking space it’s a great base and lake Windermere is short walk from the property, where you can hire a boat, take a cruise or just sit and enjoy the view. Windermere train station and bus station are a 15 minute walk away or a short cab ride. Revel Stones has its own private parking space, opposite the property - all the attractions of the lake district are a walk, drive or bus ride away - Lake Windermere is a few minutes walk.

About Deborah Lupton

We are a husband and wife team, Dave is from Liverpool and I am from Birmingham. We spent many weekends and holiday in Windermere and the surrounding areas before moving here full time 13 years ago when we purchased Cambridge House guest house in the centre of Windermere. We have owned Revel Stones Apartment for 11 years and it is a beautiful little property in an perfect location - we enjoy walking and spending quality time in the Mountains, Hills & Fells of Windermere and the surrounding areas with our dog Oscar.

We purchased Revel Stones as we had many enquires through our guest house website about self catering for families with small children & a dog - we thought it would be a good idea to offer this facility. We decided on Revel Stones because it is a quirky property, plenty of character, in a quiet location but really close to everything. It has been refurbished to a good standard and offers the modern traveller all the comforts of home, new carpets throughout, new windows in the lounge to name but a few of the improvements in order to keep the property to a good standard with your comfort in mind. Has its own private parking space opposite the property

What makes this cottage unique

Revel Stones is a bright modern property, that sleeps 4 offering 2 bedrooms on the lower ground floor both en-suite. There is a washing machine and full cooking facilities, the heating system has just been fully renewed a Hive control system and a new Mira power shower in the twin en-suite, a new electric shower and the double bedroom en-suite, new windows, new carpets & curtains in 2017. Revel stones is situated on a quiet residential street and is a few minutes walk to the shops, cafe's, bars and restaurants, and a 5 minute walk to the lake. Private parking space for one vehicle opposite the cottage

Notes on accommodation: Accommodation has two steps up to the front door and you walk into the lounge, from the back of the property there is a wooden staircase and a small patio area, due to the nature and age of the building it is not suitable or could not be adapted for wheelchairs access - the bedrooms are situated on the lower level down 1 flight of stairs and the lounge on the higher level. Outside: Front door leads onto the quiet street, back door leads out onto patio area, with bench table & chairs Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: fully cleaned for your arrival - no maid service during your stay. Linen/towels provided, but not replenished during your stay house keeping deposit of £200.00 will be required for every stay will be refunded once handed back in good order

Perfect location

The house was really cozy and welcoming. The rooms were spacious and nicely decorated. It was just a few minutes walk into Bowness, but the location was on a quiet road. I would recommend this property.

Have stayed at revel stones before,and it is a fantastic cottage.debbie has done a refit and it is gorgeous everythi g you need and now a big bonus it has it's own parking space .quiet area but 5min walk to shops and restaurants.cottage has everything you will need Debbie has thought of every thing.well done.see you next year.x

Had a lovely weekend break at Revel stones cottage. Home from home, very comfortable, everything you need. Clean and tidy, added bonus of private parking. We enjoyed the fabulous location and our dogs loved it too. Will definitely return.

Excellent little cottage - clean, warm and comfortable

Very nice little place, good size rooms with good bathrooms. Only thing stopping 5 stars is it would be nice to see a few basic supplies in the kitchen - tin foil, cling film etc. Other than that fantastic.
