Stunning 1st floor apartment, elegantly furnished with all luxury towels and bed linen supplied. The apartment offers warm comfortable accommodation whilst being just 7 minutes walk to local pubs and shops ( town 10 mins ) The apartment is situated on the waters edge and offers tremendous waterside walks to all destinations including the famous walk to Polperro on the coastal path.Either discover the beautiful town of Looe with its meandering streets and 1st class restaurants or laze in our apartment having picked up fresh fish from the quay and after eating just relax whilst looking out to sea!. For the winter months the apartment has Gas fired central heating for maximum comfort, and additional wood burning stove effect electric heater.

About Keith and Denise Chalk

We are Denise & Keith. We located to Cornwall nearly 7 years ago having been in full time business for over 40 years working in London. Since then we have enjoyed holiday destinations as our career both in the form of cottages and of course our apartment based in Looe. We are now retired and focus on helping to achieve a first class, classic holiday destination for our customers.

We live locally to the apartment.

Why Keith and Denise Chalk chose South East Cornwall

We started holidaying in Looe about the same time. We were bowled over by the scenery and the quaintness of the area. As we enjoyed our frequent trips down here we began to make many friends. We loved the friendliness of the people. We knew that one day, and when we retired we would live down here permanently.

We love living in a close knit community which is a novel experience and a welcome one having spent many years both working and living in a big town.

What makes this apartment unique

The apartment is really lovely because the area has all the amenities of a perfect Cornish destination. However, when we were visiting our apartment ( about 4 times a year ) we just loved the simplicity of going down to the quay, buying fresh fish ( caught the same day ) and we would take it back to the apartment, cook it and spend a few hours over the meal with a nice bottle of white, overlooking the sea ! This area is a wonderful destination whatever the season.

Quiet location but all amenities close by within a few minutes stroll

Looe overview :)

Free parking in Looe for a start..then a fabulous view to the east from the living room window of the beach and the banjo, with changing light and the very best people watching. Great for the three of us, a couple with one child. Clean, tidy, uncluttered, comfortable and cosy. A short walk to be able to climb the rocks and fish for crabs. Perfect.

Comfy stay, beautiful views

We have just come back from a week in rock towers looe. Apartment was clean & tidy on arrival. Fairly basic but had everything we needed for our stay. We spent quite a lot of evening time in the apartment because we had our 10 month old son with us, it was really relaxing watching the tide come in & go out. Beautiful views from the front room. We would go back again. We had a very enjoyable week in looe. Thank you.

Fantastic location

A lovely apartment with the best views of Looe harbor and beach. The apartment was comfortable and had pretty much everything we needed but would have been good to have an airer to dry clothes on. The only downside was that I had to hoover out the drawers in the bedrooms before I could put clothes in them and the living room carpet hadn't been hoovered properly. Apart from this we had a fantastic stay and would stay again.

Could be a lot better

Sadly too many things just not quite right or missing a welcome tray was a pint of milk nothing else!Signs for car park and keys etc out of date and confusing no first aid kit little information on property itself basic bathroom nowhere to hang washing little quarter of a jcloth for washing up no scourer etc everything was too minimalistic too many corners cut!Indeed wifi would be included if this property was up to speed!

Owner's Response: In response to the last review and as the owner I would like to make a few comments. Firstly I confirm that on this occasion ( it is a first ) the welcome tray was, by mistake, not laid out. We are still investigating how this was missed but on learning it had been missed our apartment manager quickly responded and addressed the situation with a full apology to our guest. As far as the car park / keys are concerned we are not sure what our guest was unhappy with. The car park is well sign posted and the keys to our apartment are fully explained on where they will be on the day of arrival, which is well documented in our Guest Information which is sent well ahead of the guests holiday. As far as a First Aid kit is concerned we have already implemented this to happen and find it a good idea for minor injuries. To add to this I am sorry that this guest feels our kitchen facilities are in adequate, I know our manager always leaves the basics of a j cloth, kitchen roll, scourer and washing up liquid, we have never had this complaint before. As for no where to hang washing ?? I might point out that an apartment is exactly that with limited space to dry clothes ( although there is a communal washing line at the back of the apartments ) however some people may not want to involve themselves in washing too many clothes throughout their holiday. I am sorry that this particular guest had these niggles, we aim to please all our visitors and want guests to enjoy their holiday we take on board complaints in a serious manner and where possible we will adapt accordingly.

Stunning sea views and a comfortable place to stay

The property was in a good location away from the hussel and bussel of East Looe but only a short walk to the shops and beach. The apartment was very comfortable and great for our two little children.

Amazing view

Back wall & cupboards attached, did smell a bit damp.
