Just awesome. Perfect venue.

We cannot praise this beautiful house enough! The owners have thought of everything with lots of personal touches. Multiple day rooms - lounge, library, snug, conservatory etc means there is room for everyone. Conservatory excellent for dining. Both kitchens fully equipped. Bedrooms very comfortable and furnished to a very high standard

It is perfect for any gathering of family and friends.

We celebrated our Ruby Wedding Anniversary there and the whole experience was fantastic.

Would not hesitate to recommend this house to anyone and hope to make a return visit one day!

Stunning! No other words suffice !

  • 5 of 5

Words cannot describe how fantastic we found Stretton House. Pictures can often be deceptive but not in this case, the house is absolutely as good as it looks. We could not praise the house, the owner Dena or her team,, John and Debbie enough....we fully intend to return !

Amazing house

  • 5 of 5

What a fantastic property for a house party. All the fittings are top quality and everything is pristine. Lovely and warm with lots of reception space to accommodate everyone. The whole weekend our guests constantly used the word “wow” to describe the facilities. The bedrooms are great and bathrooms superb, with an inexhaustible supply of hot water. Dena and here team did a great job of making us comfortable. We will definitely be returning to Stretton House.

Absolutely amazing!

  • 5 of 5

We were a mixed group of friends who came for our annual university reunion. The house is set in beautiful grounds, near to a main road and yet you feel like you are far from it all. The property is spotlessly clean and amazingly sung and warm considering the size of the house. There are 2 modern very well equipped kitchens, one of which has a little bar and snug off it. There are 2 stunning reception rooms and a huge dining room which seated all 24 of us for a big evening meal. The bedrooms are all decorated individually and have their own on suites except for 2 of the twins which still have their own allocated bathrooms. We also really enjoyed the games annexe on a rainy January afternoon. The service we have received from Dena and her colleagues has been friendly and professional. We all enjoyed the champagne and goodies bag waiting for us in the drawing room when we arrived. Always quick to reply to emails and queries and on time for a very welcome arrive and farewell. We have already booked for next year!

First class - offering a fantastic expetience

  • 5 of 5

Stretton House offers a superb five star experience . The house is truly stunning , beautifully maintained and looked after . Everything works - from the hot hot water to the projector in the cinema room , the useful 3 dishwashers and the two cookers in a very useful Two kitchens . We were a big party of 29 - teenagers and parents who went over New Year . As a group we have been spending NY together for over 20 years . Stretton House was perfect in every way . A brilliant games room for the teenagers , fabulous dining room that easily coped with us all . A cinema room which offered teenage sessions and even A Sound of Music for an afternoon by the fire for the Mums . Dena and Andrew were so helpful . They couldn’t do enough to help us . We’re discreetly on hand but left us to it too . We had a fantastic time and have re- booked for next year already ...

The best Christmas ever

  • 5 of 5

We cannot easily put into words how wonderful Stretton House is. Every single thing about the house is perfect. We were a family group of 30 with 2 octogenarians, 7 couples, 10 late teens and early twenty year olds, and 4 children including a 6 month old baby and a 2 year old. The house suited everybody with so much space and entertainment that we didn't need to go anywhere apart from walks and cycle rides for some.

The photos do not show the warmth of the house and the degree of comfort which is 5 star!

We did not use caterers at all but using the 2 fantastically well-equipped kitchens was a pleasure. Ocado helped!

The movie room is lovely and I don't think there are pictures of this on the web-site.

Toiletries were provided in the rooms and a lovely welcome gift.

The beds, linen and pillows are superb and the towels too.

John is a delightful housekeeper and couldn't have been more welcoming or helpful.

There are NO downsides to a stay at Stretton House apart from having to leave.

Please go and visit this beautiful home. You will not regret it.
