Great location, lovely cute cottage
We love Holmfirth and the location of this property is amazing. The only issue we had was confusion from the reviews and listing of whether there was parking. There is a lot of paid parking car parks in Holmfirth which is great but you couldn’t activate them via phone. Therefore one of us had to get up to put a new parking ticket on the vehicle for 8 am every morning which was a bit annoying. The cottage itself is lovely. Great facilities, very clean, huge bedroom and bathroom and a washing machine. Lovely extras such as dog treats, however i did laugh when I got back to the cottage after parking the car as my greedy husband had ate a dog treat!! Ha ha ha. We will definitely stay again but would love the council to change the car park machines to online. Obviously this isn’t the owners fault and we are now aware of the parking situation for next time.

Charming cottage
Ripple Cottage was delightful. Very comfortable and right in the centre of Holmfirth, but tucked away so all you could hear at night was the river.

We live in the Holmfirth area and have a small family who keep us busy and VERY active most of the time! . I was born and bred in Holmfirth and between me & my husband we both know the area very well. We still use the local area frequently on family walks where we always try to make a local hostelry the end of our walk so we can re-fuel on the local grub for the walk home.
We offer guests a friendly service and lots of local knowledge if required!
