Modern, spacious open plan house located in the quiet village of Betlem. The area is surrounded by natural protected land between the mountains & the sea offering superb views of both. The house is part of a small complex which has a 20 metre pool with child section & a tennis court.

Excellent well equipped, quiet and relaxing.

Very clean and extremely well equipped, just as described. From our previous experiences with Owners Direct this was the best. Great views from the upper balcony where we had our daily breakfast watching the sun rise over the hills, the lower patio overlooked the pretty garden and was shaded if it got too sunny.

Two good restaurants within walking distance, small store for daily bread and essentials just two minutes walk away. Very clean pool, that when we used we had to our selves and tennis if you had the energy.

At night we slept with the doors open and didn't hear a sound, apart from the sea in the distance. There is an excellent walk up to the Hermitage and the national park at del Llevant is a short drive away with many good well signposted strolls. There are excellent quiet sandy beaches with crystal clear water at Cala Torta and Cala Mitjana a 20 minute drive away signposted from the road to Cala Rajada.

I would thoroughly recommend this property to anyone who wants peace and quiet and an extremely well equipped and clean property.

Not great.

Property was well equipped but directly next door there was a building site which the bedroom balcony looked onto. There is a tall block of flats directly opposite the pool (not shown in photos!). Below the flats there is a bar/restaurant that has live music which kept the children awake at night until the early hours. Balcony doors could not be locked for the children and the garden was not secure and could be accessed by next door neighbours. This is a remote location, no nearby beach suitable for children and you definitely need a car. Would not stay again.

Owner's Response: Whilst some of this renter's comments are accurate they do not impact on our property. They are the first family in 10 years of renting to leave our house in a disgusting condition. This necessitated an extra charge on them for cleaning and replacement bed linens. We would not wish to rent to this family again despite their email saying how much they had enjoyed their holiday in our house. The building site is an unfinished house the same as ours. This is due to the developer running out of money. The flats are holiday apartments and part of our complex. Es Calo restaurant has music only once a week and finishes at midnight. Very few gardens in Betlem are totally fenced off. We have balcony doors and then shutters for security.

Activity and Interests

Car: necessary


The immediate coast is rugged with extensive coastal walks. There are a choice of sandy beaches within a short distance, the nearest being Colonia Sant Pere which is a few minutes drive down the road. This is a small but very safe sandy beach where you can watch your children playing while you enjoy on drink on the promenade.


Palma airport - is approximately a 50 minute drive so car hire is recommended. The journey is very straight forward - we will provide directions before your visit.


Colonia Sant Pere - 5 mins

Arta - 15 mins

Alcudia - 25 mins

Palma - 55 mins

Outside: Small private rear garden and covered terrace with superb views to the mountains. Table and chairs for dining outside. The main bedroom leads on to a large balcony with panoramic views of mountains and sea. There is good size pool (20ms) with child section and sun beds. The pool is shared by 8 villas and a small apartment block and is never too busy. Private key for access to the tennis court. At the front there is a car park specifically for the villas. Utility Room: The Utility room is equipped with washing machine, sink, ironing board and iron, clothes horse and vacuum cleaner. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bed linen and towels are provided. Please bring your own beach towels. The house is cleaned before and after each visit.
